A poor start. The room we were assigned smelt strongly of damp and the bed could've been used to grow mushrooms. We were fairly quickly moved to another room which was a big improvement.
The place, in general, is a liitle tired looking but clean although the corridors weren't cleaned on a regular basis (the same lumps of fluff etc remained from day to day). The 2 a la carte style restaurants were nice, with good service. We only used the buffet restaurant on our first night but weren't impressed. A lot of the food was luke warm. Good breakfast choice, nice fresh omelettes. Drinks and bar staff excellent. Evening entertainment was enthusiastic although fairly poor. Lovely beach, nice pools. Nassau easily accessible by bus.

The staff members at this hotel were very friendly. However, the truth is this hotel needs some desperate renovation. The bathrooms were recently done, so they were fine. But the bedrooms were outdated, and their was a huge water stain on my ceiling.

My seven girlfriends and I enjoyed our stay, we were there to celebrate our many years of friendship, and we created our own fun. One employee stood out among the rest, she was our photographer. She was professional, well-mannered and good-natured.

The food was OK, and we enjoyed lounging by the pool. I'd recommend this hotel if you're looking for a very basic hotel experience.

My husband and I visited this resort for a week in April, 2013 and loved it. The pool area is smaller than the norm, but still offered plenty of room to relax and spread out. The roooms were large, however, there was no balcony which was disappointing. The beach was great, and we did a day trip by bus to the Atlantis Resort and Casino. Fun!! Would recommend if a good deal offered.

This is a small friendly hotel. All the staff are lovely and friendly and can't do enough yo help you. The rooms are large and spacious the only downside being that their is no balcony to speak of, the doors open but the railings come right up to the doors so impossible to stand out, not the best if you like yo sit out in the early evening with a nice cold drink waiting for your hair to dry.. The pool has plenty of sun loungers and parasols and there was always freshly laundered towels every morning. The sea is beautiful and warm with the permaid fish swimming by, you can also feed them with bread, they take it out of your hands. The variety of food was very good you certainly would not go hungry and both the Italian and Eden do fantastic steaks. Overall a very enjoyable holiday would definitely. recommend

Room Tip: Rooms on the east side are a little quieter but ask for ground floor as they have patio doors and yo...

The resort is amazingly clean and all the staff work really hard to keep it that way. Especially when some guests don't seem to want to use the bins provided and then wander why the seagulls are a pain. The staff will go out of your way to help you enjoy your holiday. We only had a few days on the beach were the sea was clear and calm but was very nice. The rest of the time there was a ton of seaweed and was quite choppy. But it's the sea nothing anybody can do to change that. Sellers on the beach are super friendly and don't constantly bother you to buy stuff and are happy just to stop and chat.
The rooms did smell damp but was very clean. The food in the buffet was good but obviously mass produced and was often cold and left out for too long. But the servers were amazing at filling your drinks even getting cocktails from the bar if you wanted a special mention to polo who goes out of his way to be super friendly and will get you anything you want.
The entertainment in the evening was a bit slow and boring and didn't really start till late they mainly concentrate on hurricanes the nightclub I never went there as by the time it opened I was ready for bed. The drinks are certainly free flowing and very strong which is good but you will get people that don't know their limits and ruin it for some. 40 year olds that think they are on a club 18-30 is kinda embarrassing for them.
Now for the really bad parts. Drugs on the island and crime is quite an issue the police everywhere downtown nassau will show this. As well as my drink being spiked one night at the bar I was also offered quite freely drugs from one of the entertainment guys. The traders downtown as well as offering taxi and boat rides will also quite freely try and sell you any kind of drug.
I can understand why people often return as most Bahamian people are so friendly and at breezes will make you feel like part of a family.

Dear Mlvcdetroit,
Thank you for sharing your review of Breezes Bahamas. We are pleased to know that your visit
was enjoyable and your vacation having met with expectations. It is unfortunate that you encountered individuals that sought to expose you to illicit substances. Our country like
so many others has been touched by the international drug trade. The selling of such drugs
is a grave offense and an activity that both government and hotel associations seek to eradicate.
Please be assured that our country and people are vigoursly opposed to the drug trade.
Individuals selling or soliciting these banned substances are a very small minority.Your
observation in respect of a team-member will be fully investigated and followed through.
Again, thank you for the constructive feedback. We look forward to you visiting with our

This is my 6th trip to Breezes. The staff from the front desk to the security guards and in between are all the best at what they do! The food and entertainment are first rate. I can not find anything to complain about. If you want a lot of bang for your buck, you cant go wrong with Breezes! Plan on going back next October.

Room Tip: Ocean front is worth the upgrade.

Have just returned from 14 days at Breezes, the hotel is clean, the staff are great, the beach is fantastic, the food is plentiful, the location is fab.
There is a huge new resort the "Baha Ma" being constructed nearby but we did not really notice, there was no noise, no dust and no disruption at all so do no be put off.
The main buffet restaurant is being completely re-modelled so was not available (We were told it would be great when finished in December) we used the main restaurant alternative for daily breakfast and for most evenings, the staff there are superb but look out for Stacy she is brilliant and what a smile( She lights up the room with her smile) also Margarette.
The intimate Garden of Eden restaurant was very good also the Italian restaurant was very good but both need to be booked the day before.
The gardens and pools are beautifully kept buy a dedicated team of staff who never seem to stop. The entertainment team are brilliant and get everyone involved, special mention to Kyle in the main bar in the evenings who is a really nice guy.
Would recommend this all inclusive resort to anyone looking for a great break, the staff will make your stay.

Room Tip: Go for a room in the large part of the hotel we were in 813 on the top floor which has great views o...
