“Great food and staff!”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

I visited this property recently and as a travel agent, I would recommend this hotel to my customers. The staff are wonderful and made me feel valued as a guest at all times. This is an all-inclusive, which was great! The food and service in all the restaurants onsite was excellent. The hotel could use some updating but the rooms were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were recently upgraded. The views from the room were very appealing. I also enjoyed a great massage on the beach. There are lots of activities available and a visit to Three Brothers restaurant on Arawalk Cay is not to be missed!

Room Tip: Higher floor rooms give you a great view of the ocean.

This is a great value for the money. We travel in the Caribbean at least once a year. One would be hard pressed to find a value for the money equal to Breezes. The service is wonderful. The drinks are great and plentiful. The food is okay-breakfast and lunch are better than dinner. This resort is located on one of the better beaches in the Caribbean-it's smooth and not rocky or hilly. Close to the airport. This was one of the easiest and most enjoyable trips we've taken and it was because of this resort. We will definitely be returning!

Went to the resort for a wedding recently and were not expecting the service that we got at the Breezes. The entertainment was good and the food was great. The girls that work at the pool side bar are a riot. No kids here so expect to relax. There is free skiing and kayaking etc... I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Bring earplugs if loud music keeps you up.

Stayed here during the Carifta Games. Although the hotel is a bit dated in terms of decor and an older property, the staff and food were excellent! The weather was a bit colder than I liked so there was no sea bathing :( but the vistas were spectacular. Went walking on the beach every morning! I definitely plan to return...this time with my husband for a romantic vacation, or for a girls lime with my besties! Breezes delivered top notch service that was truly appreciated!

There is no words to describe this great hotel. It's very modern and really clean. Rooms are bigger more than we expected. But the best things that offers this hotel are: Buffet restaurant, oh my god the best buffet i have never tasted. It had everything and it was really good. The second one is the staff (receptionists, entertainment, photographer, taxi drivers...), everybody was so funny and polite with us! We could not believe that and at the first moment that we get off to the taxi!
We will come back for sure to Nassau next year, because it's a paradise. We are living in Barcelona (Spain) and the first time that we saw this amazing place we decided to go back in few months.
Thank you very much to everyone! We really appreciated everything that you have done for us!

Room Tip: Be careful with the air conditioning, because the housekeeper turn on all the mornings and when you...

Stayed April 21-26 2013 as a couple. Around 30 years old.

Overall:
- We really enjoyed our 5 nights there. Not a 5 star resort but probably a 4 (or 3.5). I can't wait to go back..

Pros:
- Clean, safe, great beach, good food, plenty of drinks, and friendly staff
Cons:
- Beach vendors, lack of towels, seaweed/grass on shore, construction noise from our room

Room:
- We had a gardenview facing the construction site next door, but we were high enough (7th floor) that we had a view of the ocean. The only negative was the beeping of the trucks backing up starting at 8 a
few mornings. We didn't hear any of the construction noise on the beach. The room was clean and accommodations were fine. Safe worked well and the bathroom seemed recently remodeled. Overall it was good (comparing it to Vegas it was more like the Hard Rock than
Mandalay Bay)

Food:
- Buffett/Dinner - They had a decent number of options and they changed nightly. Each night there was a different choice at the cutting station (turkey, brisket, ham) and there was a pasta/stir fry bar.
The food wasn't anything great, but it was all good and gave you the chance to try some different local foods.
- Buffett/Lunch - Typical hotel breakfast buffet. Omelet station and trays with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, etc. Good amount of fruit available. I thought the coffee was surprisingly good.
- Pool Grill - I had a burger, jerk chicken, and a bunch of conch fritters. I liked all of it. That is what we did for lunch everyday.
- Garden of Eden - Surprisingly good. Waiter (Vaughn) was great.

General:
- Much cleaner than I would have thought based on other comments I have read. Some people seemed hung up on seeing a few cracked tiles, but I didn't notice that.
- Entertainment staff was good. Did a good job organizing events that you could participate in if you wanted during the day and at night.
- Piano bar was a lot of fun. The piano player had great enthusiasm.
- The Club was fun a couple of nights and dead others. Just depended on the mix of guests. Nothing crazy, just a bar and a DJ.
- Nightly shows with Funky D were solid.

Pool:
- Temperature was good. Didn't find it too cold. Chairs did fill up during the middle of the day.
- Pool bar was great. Never had to wait long for a drink and the bartenders were helpful in suggesting new types of drinks.
- One of the biggest issues was that they ran out of towels a couple of days. This seems unacceptable for a resort.

Beach:
- Nice beach area and there were plenty of chairs. Sand was beautiful. Had about 6 thatch umbrellas that went pretty fast if you wanted shade. They were building another one when we were there.
- The first couple days the water was perfect. What you hope for when you go there. Clear, calm, and nice temperature. The last couple of days there was a ton of sea grass (not sure what it was called) that
came in. All of the ground in the shallow part of the water was covered with it and a lot came on shore. It wasn't great to walk on and made the water murky. Not sure how common this is, but if it had
been like that the whole time it would have been very disappointing.
- There were a large number of beach vendors. Selling jet ski rides, booze cruise, "free" trips to Atlantis, and clothes. Most of them were nice about it, but the ladies selling the shirts and hair
braiding were pushy. This was an annoying part of the trip. Made it harder to relax on the beach than it should have been.
- The resort did have some water activities (kayak, sail boats, and water skiing). We did the kayak and would have liked to have tried the other options, but the people working in this area didn't do a great job explaining when they were available. We never saw anyone water ski despite it being listed as a daily activity.

Tips:
- Bring your own mug/tumbler for drinks. The cups the resort uses for drinks are pretty small (~8 oz), but they will fill your own and saves on trips to bar.
- Take bus to downtown/straw market area. It is just a local bus, we the only tourists on it with people going to work but they were all friendly and it is only 1.25 a person. The straw market itself
isn't much to see, but there are a bunch of stores and restaurants in the area. You can see Atlantis from downtown and some of the big cruise ships.
- Go to the fish fry, but avoid some of the big restaurants and get the conch salad from one of the stands where they make it fresh. Avoid the drink stand (it was freestanding in the middle of the strip), it
was a rip off 14$ for a drink and I am convinced there was no alcohol.
- Take a trip to the private island. We didn't have a chance to do this, but another couple did and it sounded great. They had the place to themselves and I think they said they paid the jet ski guys $50
for the ride and to stay there for 3 hours.
- We did the jet skis and that was a lot of fun. Wish we would have gone snorkeling with Captain Paul (the Ninja boat) and/or the booze cruise (from Roscoe on the beach).
