It is important that you visit this site, if for no other reason than to see the statue of Queen Victoria. This statue was installed after Victoria's death, and is one of the few (perhaps only) statues of a very, very young Victoria.
Flanked by the pink buildings of Parliament Square in a safe and peaceful area of Nassua, it is a pleasant experience of Colonial Bahamas.
