“A Nassau Historical Site”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2013

It is important that you visit this site, if for no other reason than to see the statue of Queen Victoria. This statue was installed after Victoria's death, and is one of the few (perhaps only) statues of a very, very young Victoria.
Flanked by the pink buildings of Parliament Square in a safe and peaceful area of Nassua, it is a pleasant experience of Colonial Bahamas.

Lovely to see old colonial buildings but they are not making the most of the tourists visiting and should offer guided tours around it

“Pink Colonial Buildings, True Nassau Style”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2013

If it's your first time in Nassau, downtown and especially if you have limited time, walk by Parliament Square. We were returning from Fort Fincastle, after heading down the "Queen's Staircase" when we walked past it. We took a quick walk through the square and snapped several pictures.

“Worth a picture and some reading up on”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2013

Good photo spot and some history can be found here as well as a statue of Queen Victoria. Great place to go for your first time in Nassau and not far from the cruise ship port.

“Worth a walk by”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2013

This is real close to the cruise port. There is plenty of history here and a great photo stop. I recomend taking a horse and carriage tour with a guide by here. We took one and our guide gave us a great history lesson about the area and even pointed out what was in each building. The horses can be found as soon as you walk out of the cruise terminal and are inexpensive. Definately worth the money if you want to hear about the islands history.
