We stumbled onto the restaurant on a side-street in downtown Nassau. As we were trying to decide, a local young man pushing a dolly said "try it, it's really good" and it was. We had the Jerk Chicken with rice and peas, coleslaw and a fruit drink. It was excellent and very reasonably priced. We noticed a lot of locals waiting around for takeout and more eating in. The service was attentive if a bit leisurely.

We stopped in as part of a tour. Amazing jerk chicken, peas and rice, and sweet plantains. I can't remember the name of the drink were had, but have been craving it since we had it!

True Jamaican Jerk chicken, peas and rice, and plantains with an incredible juice. One of my favorites in Nassau.

We found this place as a result of our tour with Tru Bahamian food excursion. Excellent jerk chicken, and the rice and peas, well, think red beans and rice with a Jamaican twist. The jerk sauce complements the spicy jerk seasoning, but it's not so hot as to be unpleasant. This place is small, on a side street (King St), and well worth the search. The juice we had was very refreshing, don't have a clue as to what was in it, but definitely delicious!

Another discovery from our Tru Bahamian Food Tour~
We had jeck pork and it fell right off the bone. We also had the rice and beans and plantains.
So very very good. Looks a little run down on outside and nothing special inside but if you want great food stop here!!!!
