The Bimini offers outside bar tables or terrace tables next to local music plus prevailing temperatures, or inside climate-controlled seating with piped-in music and echoey noise clutter, especially with many youngsters around. I opted for the outside terrace table and local weather, as well some mellow local music by a woman singer (versus more boisterous music of a 3-person group on previous evening). In addition, the view overlooks the walkway for shopping area and the mega cabin cruisers and boats moored at the docks of the Marina.
The local food selection of conch salad, conch fritters and grilled spicy snapper were all tasty and complemented well by an icy Chardonnay. The servers were pleasant and punctual with food but lacked some finer points on service. Prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity. The overall experience was Bahamian food ala North American service. A safe bet for a reasonable meal and for kids if in tow.
