We ate here two times. It's a popular place. It has a lovely location and nice atmosphere. However, it's way overpriced, the fish portions are surprisingly small and the food is mediocre. Service is terrible. On our second visit we had failed to make reservations and were told the wait would be 40 mins, and that we should return to the restaurant in 30 mins. That's what we did. But then we waited for more than an additional hour. The people who appeared to be running the restaurant seemed neither concerned nor apologetic. When my husband checked in from time to time, what he saw were lots of empty tables that had not been cleared. It looked like there was an insufficient waitstaff to handle the patrons. Waitstaff was not very friendly either.

We ended up at this restaurant completely by accident .. It is at the same marina where we chartered our 40ft Benny with Navtours. Over a two week period we had food & drinks here several times. It's a lovely place overlooking the marina. I (think) in the past it was *the* place to go .. There are *old photos* of visiting celebrities all over the walls. It's a bit of a cheesy atmosphere, but we still enjoyed it. The food and drinks are fine (nothing special) but still enjoyable. Only downside really is that it's not cheap .. But really what is in Nassau?

It wasn't bad food or bad service, but it just wasn't "great". We saved this place to be our last dinner of the week, because it was a bit out of the way and sounded like a great last treat before we left.

After dining at Olive's Meza Grill, 3 different spots at the fish fry, Nesbitts, Carpaccio, etc, this was our least favorite meal. The chicken was bland, the Mahi was very good, my fisherman's platter was very good (excellent grouper), and the dessert was "okay" - some time of sweet bread-like guava thing,

It's a beautiful spot at the wharf, and like I said, it wasn't bad- it just wasn't great. There are better choices in my opinion.

We made reservations on their online form a week ahead of time. The day of our reservation we called to confirm, and they had no record of it, so we made a new one. Once we arrived we were forced to wait to be seated well after our reservation time. We then waited for everything: water, drinks, food, check. After 1:45 our last person had still not been served (as they brought out our food one at a time), so we asked for it to just be put in a to-go container. We watched other groups be seated an hour after us, and receive food well before us. The food was ok, not great and definitely not worth the hassle. You couldn't pay us to return to this place.

Ignore the name and know that this is a classy place. I loved my tapas of grilled shrimp, calamari, sauted mushrooms, and sizzling chorizo.

Despite feeling under-dressed compared to what appeared to be long-time regulars from the condos next door, the waiter made us feel very welcomed. This is the only place we visisted that didn't suffer the "island" quality of service. Our waiter was attentive yet never was just hovering over us. We went to it our last night at Nassau or else we would have returned.
