My kids and I accompanied my husband on a meeting to Paradise Island, Bahamas. Prior to leaving, I googled "things to do" in Nassau (in case of a rainy day) and came across the website for Graycliff Hotel that advertised a chocolate tour at their newly opened chocolate shop. As luck would have it, rain was in the forecast the day after we arrived in Paradise Island. So, I booked the chocolate tour. What a wonderful experience! We entered the chocolate shop and were surrounded by an assortment of candy treats and other chocolate inspired items. Then, we were ushered into a waiting room to put on smocks, hair nets and receive instructions on what we would be doing in the chocolate lab. Our tour was given by head chocolate chef Erika Davis. We really lucked up! Erika was amazing! She made our experience an enjoyable one by explaining the history of chocolate making, allowing us to sample Graycliff premium chocolates (yummy) and assisting us in making our own chocolate bars, truffles, dipped strawberries and clusters. We were able to take our chocolate home in a beautiful Graycliff wooden box, which was a nice touch. We loved the tour, especially our kids! Everyone at Graycliff was so nice and we made a new friend with chef Erika! Definitely book this tour on your trip to Nassau, Bahamas!
