There was 8 of us age ranging from 13 to 80 years old. we all went on the current river. We had so much fun. I do have to warn the river is crazy be careful keep your feet and elbows pulled in so you don't get them scraped . There are lot and lots of life guards all over the beach and water park.
Of all places, I thought this aquarium would be one of the best. For one, it is very confusing because it's spread out in different buildings and it is not a start and finish flow. The aquarium at Coney Island is better than this one. And if I had children with me, I definitely would not want to walk through the casino to get from one part of the aquarium to the other. There is no signs to tell you which way to go, what kind of fish etc you're looking at, or anything about their habitat. In one part you're walking into what looks like a dungeon with old world tools and it is no explanation. Don't let the pictures online fool you, it doesn't really look like that. Save your money and go to your local aquarium instead.
My kids loved the slides and going through the shark tank. The lazy river was right up my alley. The whole family had a great time. Easy access to food, drinks and bathrooms. Right off the beach too.
I enjoyed my time at the park, but review I read before it’s all true. Associates are disrespectful and don’t care about you, and don’t care about your experience in park.
Definitely a fun experience (families with kids beware - most rides have a 48” minimum height restriction). Way too crowded, though. There’s enough pools and places to hang even if the park is packed, but in order to enjoy the rides, expect at least 30-45min lines for most of them after 10am. The Atlantis is equipped to handle the crowds when it comes to towels, pool and seating space, though.
