We were looking for an indoor activity that we could enjoy (to stay out of the sun). As a former cast member for the Walt Disney Company, I am extremely picky about quality of exhibits. The Discover Atlantis package was so much more than a aquarium pass. The aquarium was interesting - a bit short but well designed and not overly crowded. If the pass only allowed access to the aquarium, I would have been disappointed. The cost is currently $44 per person and the aquarium was just not long enough for that price tag. HOWEVER, the pass also allowed access to the grounds of the Atlantis Resort. Sure, you can walk the hotel and the casino for free but this pass will allow you to walk the aquarium, the pool decks and the beach. We were able to rent jet skis on the beach and could have gone parasailing but ran out of time. I do not believe we would have had access to the pools but we were exposed enough to the resort that we will probably make a family trip out of it at some point rather than take another cruise. There are tons of things for the family to enjoy without feeling like you are confined to the island. Such a fun place and more than we bargained for with the pass that we expected to only use for the aquarium.

Once you get over these sticker shock of going to Atlantis you really learn to relax and enjoy yourself. It definitely was an experience of a life time period the beach was absolutely beautiful, the water park was amazing and the aquarium was awesome.

We've been there twice in the past 6 months. And were going back in October.
This is a crazy fun place to go. So much to do and so much fun, even for us adults!!!!
