“Wonderful time Snorkeling, Kayaking, and Hiking”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

My husband and I had a wonderful time on our Caneel Bay Kayak, Hike, & Snorkel Adventure. Our guide Patrick was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! He showed us so many things that we would have missed if we had just gone on our own. For instance, during the hike, he showed us a beautiful caterpillar and tried to get a tarantula to come out of its hole! During the snorkeling part, he dived down and pointed out a white fish swimming along the bottom that was perfectly camouflaged. He also picked up a starfish and led us to a turtle and a sting ray. This tour was definitely one of the highlights of our time in St. John!

“Best part of St. John trip!”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

This tour is a great way to find out more about the history and ecology of St. John while having a blast at the same time! My husband and I did the 5-hour Caneel Bay tour, which included lunch, and we had a fantastic time. Surprisingly, we were the only people on the tour that morning (VI Ecotours just opened an "office" at Honeymoon Beach, so we figured that was why the group was just us.) Our tour guide, Kyle, was awesome--he first talked with us about what we'd like to see/do, and the fun began! We kayaked out to Henley Cay for some snorkeling then to Caneel for some easy hiking then to Salomon beach--all with Kyle providing information about the history of the area and marine, animal, and plant life. Really the best part of our trip!!

“A great morning excursion!”
Reviewed April 5, 2013 via mobile

This is a fun and energizing morning adventure! My husband and I came to the V. I. for our 20th anniversary and after chatting with other couples we decided to book this excursion. So glad we did! Our guide , Travis, was very knowledgeable and fun. The water was the amazing, beautiful, clear turquoise and blue. During our hike we saw some beautiful sights and had quite a few photo ops :) The snorkeling was fun as we spotted a sting ray and her babies and a sea turtle! If you're looking for a great activity at a reasonable price, but don't want it to consume your entire day, THIS is the excursion for you :)

“Great trip!”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

My husband and I received a Virgin Island Ecotour as a wedding gift to use on our honeymoon. It was one of the first activities we did, and it was a great way to start our trip! Patrick, our guide, was both knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot about the local flora and fauna, saw some great fish while snorkeling, and had a better appreciation for the biodiversity and history of the island. Highly recommend a VI Ecotour on your trip! PS- we stayed at Caneel Bay, which made the trip super convenient!
