“Great tour and fantastic customer service”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

Friend and I signed up for this tour at our resort. Somehow there was miscommunication between our resort and eco tours and once we got to the tour starting place at Honeymoon beach we were signed up for different tour. We were of course bit disappointed but guys there were super friendly and accommodating (Chris and Patrick). They offered us to go on a different tour that was starting at our scheduled time, 10 am or to wait until 2 pm to go for the tour we signed up for "caneel bay" . They also offered us free chairs, kayaks or any other beach equipment while we were waiting. They apologized multiple times for this miscommunication and also offered us to pick any two tea-shirts from the shop for free. Our tour guide Patrick was super nice, knowledgable and very accommodating. We learned a lot about plants, animals and history and culture of the island. We were very pleased with services we received.

Patrick was our Guide and he exceeded our expectations. Our minds were filled with so much knowledge and history, we kayaked to Caneel Bay, then hiked on the private grounds of the resort, all the way Patrick showed us things we would have never noticed before, termite nests, hermit crabs, plants ,edible fruits, deer ,tarantula holes!
Snorkeling was fantastic with sightings of turtles, rays, parrot fish.At the end we were presented with a CD of pictures he took on the excusion- what a treat!!

“Caneel Bay Eco Tour - Outstanding!!!”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

My wife and I went on this tour and loved it. Patrick our guide was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable of the island plants and history. I was very informative and I feel I have a much better understanding of St. John. I would strongly suggest if you are going to St. John, take the time to go on this 3 hour tour. You will not be disappointed.

“St. John USVI Eco Tour -- Excellent!!!!!”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

I've been coming to St. John for many years and this was the first tour that I have taken. It was a 3 hr. kayaking/hiking/snorkeling trip from Honeymoon Beach and it was just perfect. A friend and I were completely happy with the entire experience. Our guide, Patrick, did a great job in pointing out a variety of interesting trees, insects and hermit crabs, which we were then able to identify during the rest of our visit to the island. Patrick was extremely helpful and knowledgeable -- one of the best guides ever. The tour is the perfect length of time and goes so quickly. I believe anyone of any age would enjoy it.

“Great excursion to learn about the area - kids loved it too”
Reviewed December 29, 2012 via mobile

We had two families with kids from 10-18 on the Caneel bay Eco tour. It was our first day at St. John and a great way to get acclimated and learn a bit about the water, vegetation, wildlife etc. We kayaked for about a hour, hiked for about an hour and snorkeled for about an hour - right at Caneel Bay Area. Patrick was a great guide - very friendly and knowledgeable. He even had a waterproof camera and took photos and burned them on cd at the end of the trip - at no extra cost and no restrictions on use of the photos. That was great. A great family activity! And a great way to learn something about the local area too.
