“Far Away But Beautiful in the Early Morning”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

Little Lamesur is a great place to visit just after the sun rises. Sit and watch the pellicans dive for fish. Then join them for a snorkel. Lamesur is where I saw numerous large fish tailing and hunting bait fish. Mainly large Tarpon and Barracuda that can be somewhat scary but dont wear shiny jewelry. Swim out and around the small rock and coral outcrop in the center and then enjoy the quietest place around. Also, visit the research center that is tucked away on the road to Lameshur.

“Quite”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

This beach is quite. There is nothing really at this beach but secclusion. I would not plan a trip to this beach unless you want nothing to see and seclussion. If you stay on the west side of the island do not make the trip. If you stay on the east side, why not, something to see but otherwise, just another beach.

“Not impressed..”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

I know these bays change by the hour, if not minute. During my time there, it wasnt that pretty, very rough, not much beach, and a pain in the [--] to get to.

“Quiet, relaxing”
Reviewed August 20, 2012

Not great snorkeling but with existing BBQ equipment and benches, it makes a lovely picnic area. Tends to be quiet. You can access the end of the Reef Bay trail here, if you wish to hike up to see the ruins.

“One of my favorite places in the world!”
Reviewed July 27, 2012

Difficult to get to, but that just makes it even better, less people! Ruins are perfect for exploring and picnicking (watch out for the mongoose who will come to share your lunch!) Many trails to hike, if that is what you like. Snorkeling is great here or Europa Bay or Yawzie Point, both accessible by the trails nearby. You can hike to Reef Bay from here and hike back via the White Cliffs trail that takes you back to Europa Bay. Bring everything you need and stay the entire day!
