We stayed at Concordia, in one of the eco-tents, for week in the summer of 2012. When our family thought about our vacation options for 2013, we decided what we really wanted to do was go back to Concordia again.

St. John offers a great mix of lovely beaches, fascinating snorkeling, hiking opportunities, and history. My wife and I have been to Maui many times, and St. John has a similar appear (only much closer the the East coast).

Our family of six stayed comfortably in one of the tents, making the vacation affordable. The tents are comfortable and the kitchens and bathrooms work well. You have to have reasonable expectations -- it can be warm and there are some bugs. But we loved it.

Room Tip: The superior tents are the same as the other tents, but with a better breeze.

During our travels to both U.S. and the British Virgin Islands we decided to stay at Concordia. It was one of the most magical and peaceful places I have ever visited, and I have traveled a lot. I am a nurse so I really did need the peace and quiet :) This place truly caught my heart in all aspects. So much nature and serenity. We hiked over to the Salt Pond Bay beach and to Ram's Head for an amazing sunset, the trail was beautiful. I haven't felt so relaxed in a long time, I just truly wish the eco studios were cheaper, that is the one thing I would change... The resort is expensive I felt. It is an amazing place to visit; however, and I do hope to return.

We stayed here twice, at the beginning and end of our sailing trip. We arrived late and had a friendly reception, which was welcome after a long day of traveling.. Perfect for overnight stay!!! People very friendly and helpful.

This is a total gem in St. John. I'm a resident on the other side of the island and love any excuse to head out to the tranquil setting of coral bay and the east end. We arrived to our Eco tent p-14 and explored with enthusiasm all the accoutrements that it had to offer. The designers have thought of everything. As I titled this that I am not a camper; it was like discovering St. John all over again. Bring a flashlight or a headlamp. The walkways are dark with ambient light only. I only wish we could have been there for a full moon hike to rams head. The pool and grilling area is outstanding for families and friends to gather. The yoga in the evening was a highlight along with our dinner there. We will certainly be retuning when they start up their season again for another night listening to waves and the wind. And the staff is super friendly and helpful. Hats off to the manager -you have hit a home run here.

This place is great. Beautiful views from our Studio (Sir Francis Drake Channel). Office staff very helpful. Bought a bottle of wine at the front desk and spent the evening watching the sun go down and stars come out. Pool is great during the day with beautiful ocean vies as well. Hike to drunk bay was fun to see with all the coral figurines.

We were fortunate enough to experience Maho Bay Camps before they closed. Concordia may not be Maho, but is a completely different and memorable experience just as Maho was. It was great to finally see the other side of the island. Can't wait to come back!

We stayed last two days of Aug. Things were closing up. We didn't have a car, so our only restaurant choice was the Concordia Cafe. Even if we had a car, things were still closed down. Food was ok at Concordia. Limited choices. No hot breakfast at this time. With the beautiful breezes on the deck of A-25, it would have been great to have more cross ventilation to bring some of that fresh air indoors. Maybe it was the location of A-25 - maybe other units were breezier. Hike down to Salt Pond Bay may be an easy 15 min, but you have to get back up again! We love hiking and camping normally but this just didn't do it for us. We thought it was located on Maho Bay. Big difference. We visited Cinnamon Bay for the day and wished we had camped there instead. Good parts? The staff was very friendly. The ceiling fan was a big help at night (again wouldn't need one if there was better ventilation.) The stars were amazing. We LOVED the snorkeling in Salt Pond Bay. The hike out to Ram's Head was a good one.
