We decided to go to Terrace for our last evening on St. John since we enjoyed it so much last year. Unfortunately we couldn't get a table out on the balcony - which I highly recommend, but inside was fine. We started off with delicious oysters Rockefeller and escargot. Followed by a delicious mahi dinner and the filet mignon. Service was very professional. Be sure to try their signature drink - the beet martini. Surprisingly it works and it is very good.

The Terrace is the best restaurant on St John.
Best service. Best terrace (obviously!). Best food. French inspired but not overwhelming for those who are scared by the thought of that. The seafood and beef were amazingly fresh and prepared perfectly. The salads we started with were bright, flavorful and dressed perfectly.
Do not miss your chance to eat at The Terrace.

We have been coming to St. John multiple times a year for 20 years and somehow have never tried this restaurant. Big mistake!! It was our favorite meal of the week. Definitely the most $$$ for the week but so worth it. We amazing cocktails. Martinis are the bomb! Then the bread which is not common in St. John was so good. The appetizers were devine. I had the tuna tartare which was so good. For dinner two of us had the lobster tail with the risotto. Omg. So much lobster. Two massive tails cooked to perfection. The other two for the Mac and cheese and talked about it all week long!!!! So good.

We have been to St. John several times but this was our first time at The Terrace.
We stopped by for happy hour and had putine, oysters rockefeller, escargot and steak skewers. Great drinks and the appetizers were fantastic. Bar was full and the bartender was very attentive. (wish I could remember his name) Highly recommend and will definitely go back next time.

The Terrace is our go to restaurant for special occasions and when we want a romantic dinner for two. From the time we walk up the steps we are catered to and know to expect a great meal. Whether you are looking for a quick but really nice Happy Hour at the bar or a several course meal to enjoy for hours The Terrace never disappoints.
