Returned to the Terrace (formerly the Stone Terrace) after a several year absence. Service was friendly and good, ambiance was open-air funky St. John, and food was excellent. A really outstanding wine list with some superb offerings, a bit more expensive than the mainland, but hey, it takes a bit of work to get some of these allocation wines all the way here from California! I had steak cooked perfectly and my wife Caribbean lobster - excellent. Overall a great dinner. I would recommend to anyone who likes good food and wine when on St. John.

We chose to try this restaurant because of the nice view of the bay, and were glad to find they were not complacent with that. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had seafood appetizers (lobster bisque and scallops) and turf style entrees (steak and lamb), and neither disappointed. We would definitely come here again based on this first experience.

We had a party of 7 and didn't enjoy this restaurant. The food was good but the atmosphere was stuffy. We had 3 children with us, and their choices were also very limited. They didn't complain, but I could tell they were hoping for more options. The adult menu only had 5 total choices for entrees. We were seated out on the deck with the nicest view they had, but your better off at Waterfront Bistro with more food choices and better view. The wait staff at The Terrace was very friendly. The average review is just for lack of options on the menu and a mediocre view.

Great service (Thanks, Mike!) and very good food. I loved the scallops. The portions were very large, and we could not finish our main courses. The wild rice salad served with the mahi was just amazing. I could eat just a bowl of that.

We enjoyed a great dinner here, the food was excellent and the service was great, not to mention the view. However, the best part of the dinner was my Dilled Bean Martini!. Alan makes the dill brine with champagne vinegar, adds some to the vodka, laces the martini with 2-3 dilled green beans and voila! the best martini ever.
