Took a drive down North Shore Road and knew we had to hit up Maho Beach to see if we could catch a glimpse of some sea turtles. At first we were a little weary, but after seeing that first sea turtle, we were hooked! They are so cute and do their own thing that all you have to do is be sure to not be in their way when they come up for some air. Bring your own snorkel gear, plop a towel on the beach and explore this beautiful sight! Gives you a new appreciation.

If you need shade, bring an umbrella. Many of the shade trees have been removed by the recent hurricanes. The beach and water are still perfect.

Great Snorkel with Sea Turtles. Bring your cooler and snorkel gear as there is nothing to rent at this beach.

This was a nice beach as well. It was not crowed and the water was great. This should be one of the beaches on your trip to see.

This may be the best beach on St. John. While not as famous as trunk or Cinnamon, the water is incredible, and we have had some of the best snorkeling of our lives here. The right side is great for turtles, and we were able to swim with some 5' Tarpons one afternoon. Truly an amazing experience.
