Description: The Lime Inn restaurant is located in downtown Cruz Bay and has been a favorite between locals and visitors alike since 1984. Still owned and operated by the Meyer family (now daughter, Chelsea, and son in law, Richard) your St. John experience is not complete without a visit to our open-air, friendly, restaurant. We are known for our wonderful staff and delicious and consistent meals. Join us for our all day Happy Hour 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM, where our signature cocktails are $4 and Presidente Beers are $2. Fresh Grilled Caribbean Lobster is served daily along with our famous whole snapper, rum ribs, and house made pasta, just to name a few. You can also eat light with our appetizer selection, fresh salads, and slow cooked soups. No one can leave, either, without a taste of our famous Key Lime pie. We are open for Lunch Monday thru Saturday from 11:30 to 5, happy hour Monday thru Saturday 11:30 am-5:30 and Dinner Monday thru Saturday from 5:30 to 9:30. We look forward to seeing you!

You are always greeted by one of the owners for either lunch or dinner to see that you enjoyed your meal. If you're craving a steak on island, they won't disappoint. Lunches are very reasonably priced. Always a great selection of fresh fish. Best swamp water (with just a hint of spearment) on island and so refreshing.

My wife and I ate lunch here after a day out and found their menu to have many good choices and the prices were fair. I enjoyed the Mahi Mahi sandwich and just enjoyed the service and atmosphere of the place.

So glad you enjoyed your lunch! We do have an awesome (perhaps little known) lunch menu that deserves a try! Hope to see you soon for some of our delicious salads, chicken, and pasta specials. Thanks again.

Excellent food, great service, and they fit us in right when dinner was served, and we had a party of 8!

We visited here several years ago and were impressed with the lobster so decided to come back. We were really disappointed. The atmosphere is lackluster, the waitress was busy talking to her friend at the nearby table the whole time. My lobster was cooked well, but certainly not something I'd claim "famous". Our side dishes consisted of 8 scalloped potatoes and some sort of pepper/onion medley that was cold. And, it was terribly overpriced. We were so excited to have a great seafood meal and left hungry and disappointed.

So sorry that your second time back wasn't a great experience. Cold food is simply unacceptable and as for the lobster, I'm not sure exactly what went wrong from your description, but it should always be amazing. I hope that you will try us again anyhow, we do try very hard to be consistent and to serve delicious food.

Went here last week and had great clams for an appetizer followed by the all you can eat peel and eat spicy shrimp. The wait for our shrimp was long despite a layer reservation, but once you finish your first plate the waitstaff are right there with more if you want it. Really tasty and worth it. Would have liked to try some of the other specials but couldn't miss the shrimp!
