We are known for our wonderful staff and delicious and consistent meals. Join us for our all day Happy Hour 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM, where our signature cocktails are $4 and Presidente Beers are $2. Fresh Grilled Caribbean Lobster is served daily along with our famous cracked conch, rum ribs, and house made pasta, just to name a few. You can also eat light with an awesome appetizer selection, fresh salads, and famous soups. No one can leave, either, without a taste of our famous Key Lime pie. Ate lunch there. The food was very good. Bananagnats were fluttering in the greenery. What a pretty little bird that eats sugar. Lunch was very casual.

“You Can't Go Wrong with the All You Can Eat Shrimp”
Reviewed February 22, 2012

We decided to go to the Lime Inn because we remembered it as being good the last time we went to St. John. It was a Wednesday night when you can get all you can eat shrimp.

The four of us ordered the shrimp. It was very good, but not fantastic. The drinks were good and the service attentive. The owner came by to see how the meal was going. We were impressed with that because it was a super busy night.

All in all a good experience and we will definitely go there any time we return to St. John.

“Decent Meal”
Reviewed February 22, 2012

This was really the only decent meal out (at a nice restaurant) that we had in St. John. Service was decent. The owner was onsite and came around to all of the tables to check in on them. We had steaks, which were a bit tough. As with my other reviews, the rating compares Lime Inn to other STJ restaurants. If this were a local restaurant at home, we wouldn't go back.

It wasn't until after we got home that a friend who frequents STJ suggested that we should have just cooked in each night. Apparently, STJ is not known for its stellar cuisine...

“Expected much better from the reviews”
Reviewed February 19, 2012

Perhaps we were there on an off night, but this place just didn't impress. There was a lot of attentive service (three separate servers), but not particularly effective. The pace of the meal was very disjointed - drinks were a bit sporadic, the cold appetizers took a very long time, and the hot meal was almost immediately on its heels. Food was a bit hit or miss - great Snapper and lobster, mediocre scampi, and an almost comical pizza special for the kids (a crumpled heap of dough and canned tomatoes). In many ways, I think they are a victim of their own success - too many tables crammed into a small space and too diverse of a menu. I think they would be well suited to take a few tables out, and focus on the dishes they do very well.

A very enjoyable experience. The entire staff was friendly, the food was out of this world and the service was unmeasured. This was our best dinning experience during our eight day stay. Check-out their website to see what weekly specials they have.
