My review is far later than should’ve been. But, I had to write one...later is better than never in this case. My wife and I spent our 30th Anniversary at this amazing property, with the amazing owners.
We travel quite a bit and we pride ourselves on being sort of savvy travelers. After 2years, we still consider this trip to be one of our best...Owners contributing hugely to this emotion. We felt, in a phrase “at home”, from the time we arrived, being picked up by an owner, at nearly midnight, because of a delayed flight, to having a final breakfast in the awesome kitchen in each villa.
Please don’t let the recent weather stop you from blessing yourself with a visit to this fabulous place and enjoying the food, fun, and fellowship of the phenomenal people on the island.

P.S. D&D(owners)
I’m sure you guys still read the reviews regularly, so forgive us for such a late review. We’ll make it up by stay with you guys for our next Anniversary.

Big Blessings to you both,

Pastors Dondi and Teresa Johnson

No matter the time that has passed, it's always the thought that counts! We appreciate that you took the time to show your support. It's always an honor to be the place to celebrate such momentous events like anniversaries. After two years, we're glad to be considered one of your best trips. Can't wait to see you guys again!

This was my 4th time at Sea Shore Allure (SSA) and I have now stayed in all 3 of the different units - 1 BR, 2 BR & 3 BR, and they are all fantastic. Delrise, Delbert and their staff have always gone out of their way to accommodate their guests every need. The units (8 total, making it intimate) and grounds also have absolutely everything you could ever imagine. Having been to many Caribbean locations & beaches and staying in homes or condos, I can say that SSA is the best place to stay on St. John that is a) waterfront, b) high-end finish of the units c) all the comforts of home, d) proximity to Cruz Bay town and North Shore beaches, and e) on-site amenities (pool, outdoor dining, Wolf grill, pool/beach accessories). WiFi is good, and we do much of our work in the morning before packing up for the beaches mid-morning. As an island, St. John offers some of, if not, the best beaches and views in the Caribbean with the friendliest people. You can literally pick a different beach each day and have a totally different experience while viewing sting rays, turtles, and all kinds of fish right off the beach because two-thirds of the island is National Park. As of now, most of St. John is still what I call "self-service" meaning there are really no full-service hotels to speak of. If full-service is what you're looking for, St. John is not for you. But if you like having coffee/breakfast on your patio overlooking the water, taking sandwiches and beverages to the beach, and then finishing off with dinner in town or perhaps grilling out at SSA overlooking Turner Bay, this is THE best place on the island to stay run by people who know how to make guests feel special the minute you arrive.

I booked this based on reviews and am so glad I did. All rooms have a great view. Rooms are spacious and as advertised. Kitchens are well stocked with up-to-date appliances. There is even an outdoor kitchen next to the pool. Free laundry machines. The walk to Cruz Bay is short. We rented a vehicle but it was so nice to be able to walk to dinner in case we drank.

It is not a traditional hotel - no concierge, of on-site staff to speak of (although host always answer calls & texts). Highly recommended.

It's great to hear that you had such a great time staying at our place. We love being a walk away from Cruz Bay. You can't beat convenience like that! Hoping we'll be seeing you again for your next vacation.

This place is absolutely stunning! Delrise and Delbert make your feel right at home in their comfortable place. All of the amenities of home are included in these rooms.
We had a beautiful view of the Caribbean, nice pool and jacuzzi. A short, 10 minute walk to town and all of the restaurants. It is off the beaten track, and so relaxing and peaceful you will feel right at home the second you walk through the gate.

Nothing beats a Caribbean view, Susan. While our guests are on vacation with us we want them to be stress free. That's why we pack the room with your necessities from home and why our location was so important to us. We want to be your go-to relaxation destination. Next time you're on the island, we'll be here.

Vacationing at Sea Shore Allure was just what my family needed! Delrise met us at the dock of the ferry and guided us to the car rental and even arranged for a crib to be delivered to our apartment. I just had a baby and the 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom apartment was perfect for our family. SSA thought of everything! The apartment was huge, clean, organized, beautifully decorated...there were even coolers, chairs, and pool toys available for guests! They supplied laundry detergent so we could wash our clothes and towels (this isn’t a hotel so we did have to wash our own towels but the washing/drying machine was huge so we could finish a load really quickly)...the gigantic kitchen was perfect for cooking breakfast and preparing meals (it was a short walk to the market from the apartment). From what I can see, this was the nicest place we could have stayed in on St John. We were walking distance from everything and if we didn’t have a baby with us we could have easily skipped the car rental. I 100% recommend staying here.
