“Great experience”

The owners and all the staff were very very nice and accommodating. We've stayed in two different units and the beds were excellent as were the showers, something unusual for St John. We will happily stay here again. Best place to stay downtown.

If you are looking for luxury, this isn't it. It is a simple, extremely safe, clean and well-located B&B. The rooms are small, but you are not going to be hanging out in your room anyway. As of now, there are only 6 rooms. I would recommend room 4 or one of the rooms on top floor. There is a plant-filled covered deck above the street where you can curl up on the couch and read a book, or have your little happy hour before going out to one of the many restaurants in the area, all within a short walk. Beach chairs and beach towels are available free of charge. David, Denise and David's mother, Kathy, are lovely people who are dedicated to making your stay memorable. Continental breakfast consists of home made breads from a local bakery, fruit, yogurt, juice, oatmeal and coffee, all served on the deck. There is also an Italian restaurant below that makes great pizzas. Get a bottle of wine, get one to go, and enjoy on the deck. Also local cuisine right next door. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a relatively new hotel in Cruz Bay and the website is very accurate- small, modern and clean rooms. We stayed for three nights after our villa week in February. As others have said the room is small although we have been in a few smaller rooms on our trips. But we did see another room where you didn't have to squeeze out of one side of the bed. A few of the rooms have small balconies. The breakfast is very nice as are the owners. The location is hard to beat when you are in Cruz Bay but that can mean it is sometimes noisy. I would have given this a five except that on our first night there was an unusual event at Fred's bar a few doors up- a music festival. The owners left a note telling us this and also left earplugs but the music lasted until three A M. The other two nights were very quite- we did run the modern air conditioning.
If we are lucky enough to extend our villa stay the next time we go then we would probably stay there again.

This is a very nice, but small hotel right in Cruz Bay - great location, very clean, the breakfast is a bargain. With their new communal terrace overlooking the street, but still very private, there is a place to sit outside in the shade to read, catch up on post-card writing, or visit. The proprietors Denise and David could not have been more helpful and friendly, but not in any way nosy. We would definitely come back.

The owners are very helpful with everything- We tried unsucessfully to find a car to rent for the day (everyone was booked! Important- if you want one book ahead!) but David rounded one up for us. They provide beach chairs, soft coolers, beach towels. THey've got the coolest little deck to sit on, where you meet fellow travelers all of whom share experiences.

Room Tip: Room 3, which we had, has no cross ventilation, so we had to use the AC (Which was fine, just agains...

Pros: The hotel is in the heart of downtown. It is very clean. Powerful AC unit in room. Owners are lovely. Good nightly rate. Cons: The room we stayed in was small. In order to go to the bathroom during the middle of the night, I either had to crawl over my husband or step sideways in the approximately 3 inches of space between the wall and the foot of the bed. Breakfast was yogurt and pastries. I prefer a hot breakfast with less wheat (eggs, fruit), so we went out for breakfast.

This hotel has a great location on Cruz Bay, is clean and the staff is very helpful. Great location for cars and restaurants and within walking distance from everything. The room was VERY small. If you are looking for a clean place with a central location on Cruz Bay and a good breakfast at a reasonable price, this is for you. Just know the rooms are very small....very small
