Took a sunset cruise on the Sadie Sea. Drank beer, listened to music while watching a beautiful sunset over St. John. Tom was a great host and made sure all had a great time. It was the highlight of our trip to the island and would definitely do it again!

Our family group of 16 people, ranging from 14 years old to 84, took a wonderful full day charter with Captain Tom and the Sadie Sea in August 2012. The boat was comfortable and stable with lots of shade and sun both. We took a round-the-island route with snorkel stops in places difficult to reach from land (Waterlemon, mangroves in Hurricane Hole, and the Lameshur Tektite site). Tom tailored the stops perfectly to the day's weather and the family's hopes. The mangroves are a rare treat even for experienced snorkelers. And Tom knew a likely spot for eagle rays was Tektite. Right on cue, an eagle ray arrived to swim around our group for a few minutes. For a large group like ours, the full-day charter was a great value, and more important, a truly unforgettable experience.

Great tour of local snorkel sites on St John. Good local knowledge and very nice. Unrushed snorkeling without the crowds .

We chartered a boat for our family and friends vacation back in March 2010 including 15 of us! We had two young families with young children aged 5 up to "tween". We also had grandparents on board and a couple 20, 30, and 40-somethings. Everyone was happy with no complaints whatsoever. Amy and Tom provided great tunes, stories of their travels, tips for dining in St. John (including a quick hand drawn route on the map), and a specialized trip plan for us. Our trip started at Red Hook where Amy and Tom promptly picked us up. At the first stop, a few were led by Tom and went snorkeling while others floated around or watched from the boat. The next stop was a vacant strip of beach at St. John where we swam, checked out fish and the reef with our snorkeling gear, and relaxed until they took us to Cruz Bay in St. John. Our overall experience was fantastic except that we didn't see a vast variety of fish and sea life which is difficult for them to have control over any way. The best part is that they will customize the stops based on how experienced the swimmers are and what age group is on board.

I want to thank Sadie Sea Charters for welcoming me aboard after my May 25 accident on Reef Bay Trail. I was impaled on a broken off tree at the petroglyphs that punctured up to my second rib. Since I could not walk back up the trail to our vehicle, Sadie Sea graciously transported me back to the National Park Service headquarters so I could seek medical attention. For that I am truly grateful. My recovery is going well. Thank-you Sadie Sea for your generous act of kindness!!
