This restaurant has fantastic service, great music, a simply gorgeous setting and the absolute BEST food on the island. We go back multiple times during our vacation. Make sure to try the tuna and vanilla cream cheesecake.

“Excellent choice and a must eat at destination”
Reviewed March 9, 2014

We stumbled by the restaurant after shopping at the pink papaya and the lady behind the counter told us that it was only a five minute walk to Mongoose Junctiom. So we did and was the food superb. But not only was the food and service great, you must save your stomached for the excellent choices of homemade pies that the owner makes on location. We had the lemon pie. Now I have had over 100 Leon pies from all over and hers was by far the best. If we weren't so full from lunch we would have stayed to have another. Seriously, that good.

“The BEST Restaurant on the Island!”
Reviewed March 8, 2014

Our Servers name was Tammy. She was the best server we have ever experienced. Anticipating a brief rain shower, she quickly moved us to a different table. Only once it began to rain did we realize what she did. Very kind of her. She gave suggestions to us and made sure we left room for dessert. We ordered the Conch Chowder (the best on the Island) and a Mahi Salad. Again very very good. We also saved room for a slice of Strawberry Pie in which she brought that with a sliver of her own favorite for us to try! Her service alone will bring is back again today. Ask for Tammy to be your server, she is stellar and adds to your dining experience.

“Nice garden setting in Mongoose Junction”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

Average quality food served in a nice garden setting in Mongoose Junction. Limited dinner menu, with prices that are on par with other restaurants on the island. I ordered the "island paella", and enjoyed the meal, but we all agreed that all the entrees were a bit "flat". The fish all seemed fresh, but nothing here was outstanding in any way, in fact it was our least favorite meal on the island. Again, nothing wrong with our meal, but there are much better dining options.

“Great Place for Lunch in Cruz Bay”
Reviewed March 2, 2014

Though the Ocean Grill is open for both lunch and dinner, we only dined there for lunch and what a pleasant surprise it was.
Our waitress was friendly, knowledgable about the menu and recommended the Mahi Tostados were were delicious. My wife fell in love with the local root bear and had a tasty cesear salad that was more lemony than garlicky. The greens were crisp and fresh and the outdoor, under umbrella seating was so carribean.
If you are not at the beach, but in town shopping, this is a great place to stop for lunch.
