Seeing St. John from the ocean, aboard the Island Time, offers a wonderful and completely different perspective than touring by jeep. Especially when there is live steel pan music playing as the gracious, friendly, attentive crew keeps the food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) in hand for the 2 hour cruise. We left from the Westin and got to Francis Bay so quickly. The setting sun in the west seemed to shine a spotlight on this pristine island. Our return was at a leisurely pace and calm enough that we could easily stand as we watched the beautiful sunset, listening to Albion play his sipping on champagne and rum punch, while the boat hugged the shore. We were able to see up close the white sandy beaches we had visited during the day but now with few people, if any, on them. Talk about a Kodak moment … we had many of them. Now home I am able to relive my Sunset Cruise and look forward to another one when I return to the Westin.
