“Perfect day trip to the BVIs”
Reviewed February 11, 2014

My wife and I just got off the Bad Kitty today. We both had a very good time. The crew is very knowledgeable, and attentive. The boat is clean and rides very smooth across the waves. We got to see and do a lot in one day for a reasonable price. The Baths at Virgin Gorda are magnificent. There is a 100 meter swim in to the Baths from the Bad Kitty followed by a guided tour inside the Baths. After the Baths we stopped off for lunch at the Cooper Island Beach Club. The food is good at the Beach Club and it is reasonably priced. After lunch we snorkeled at the Caves on Norman Island and saw a few colorful fish. After our snorkel stop then it was off to the bars on White Bay for some Pain Killers and a walk on the beach. If you like Rum you have to try the Pain Killers at the Soggy Dollar Bar. We left White Bay for Cruz Bay for the end of the tour wishing it didnt have to be over, Bad Kitty is the way to go for a day trip to BVI!!

“Nice day, friendly crew”
Reviewed February 11, 2014 via mobile

We spent the day on Bad Kitty yesterday. It was a great way to see several things in the BVI while staying on St. John. The crew handled customs for us in the BVI and led the way through coming back to the US. If you travel a lot, that's not a big deal, but with a group of 20, it makes it faster.

Our fist stop was the baths at Virgin Gorda, which was interesting. It was a short swim to shore, then a guided tour through the rock formations, which was interesting, followed by a short swim back to the boat. The only downside is that life jackets are required, which is really annoying if you are a strong swimmer. If you are not, I am sure it is comforting.

Next stop, Cooper island for lunch, which was excellent. it's a beautiful little island with a lovely restaurant. We ordered our food from the boat so it was a very short wait once we docked.

The next stop was for snorkeling, which was the only disappointment of the day. There was nothing to see except one turtle and a school of blue fish. We have seen far better snorkeling elsewhere in the Carribean, so I don't know if this is indicative of all the snorkeling around the area or if we just stopped in a bad place. (I sure hope that's it, as we came to St John to snorkel!)

Our last stop was on Jost van Dyke for some beach and bar time.
that was a beautiful beach and a great way to end our day.

Overall, Bad Kitty was a good choice for a tour through the VI. The only downside is the mandatory life jackets, simply because they are annoying. Beyond that, the crew was great, the boat was nice, if snorkeling is not your primary interest, I recommend this tour.

“BVI in a Day”
Reviewed February 7, 2014

If you are going to the USVI and want to visit the top spots in BVI, Bad Kitty is for you. With an attentive staff who is always ready to help or pour a drink, you visit Virgin Gorda, Cooper Island and Jost Van Dyke. Get ready to have soggy dollars and get your dollars soggy. Relax and take advantage of the views, the snorkeling and jump of the top of the boat. It isn't nearly as scary as it looks.

“Great day visiting the BVI's”
Reviewed February 5, 2014

We did the day trip to the BVI's on the Bad Kitty and had a great time! That boat can move! The crew were all great and very efficient. Our first stop was in Virgin Gorda to visit the Baths - we had nice weather and were able to swim in...it's a distance but we were all required to wear life jackets so no big deal. The Baths were amazing...I think we beat the crowds by being there first thing in the day. Then onto lunch at Cooper Island which was also amazing! Delicious food & drinks. Next we stopped at The Caves to snorkel...again, a lot of swimming but so gorgeous! Finished the day off by swimming into Jost to visit the Soggy Dollar....such a beautiful beach! The water is just beautiful. I read that some people complain about feeling rushed but we didn't feel that way...there's a lot of distance to cover and we felt the crew was very efficient in their time management. We would highly recommend this trip...it was a smooth ride, saw some unbelievable sights and had an absolutely great day!
