This is the best quick cafe on the island. everything is perfect. The blackened chicken is awesome, the specials are to dye for. We always over order too much food and thats okay. lots of left overs. We ate here 4 times in a two week trip.

“What a great surprise!”
Reviewed September 22, 2012

Great small outdoor cafe "sandwiched" in Mongoose station. Good pizzas, quesadillas and other sandwiches. There are some logistics involved with the distance between the tiny kitchen and the tables, so food delivery can be a little slow. Fortunately the waitstaff was attentive and which meant another beer! Win/win!

“Terrific laid back island atmosphere.”
Reviewed September 20, 2012 via mobile

Ate there twice with 2 picky ladies, we all know good food, and we were all very happy with our choices. One of my companions went out of her way to compliment the chef - unheard of from her. Also, the drinks were good. Sitting on the patio, enjoying the atmosphere, getting great service from a pleasant waitress....it was one of our happiest eating experiences on the island. Can't imagine any of the staff giving attitude. Everyone I saw was having a good time, and staff all smiled all the time. You can't go wrong there.

“Absolutely Amazing”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

This was the absolute best meal my husband and I had while on the islands (and possibly the best salad I have ever eaten). This too was an unexpected find for us. At first glance, it appears that this restaurant is more of a walk up and order, hamburger/sandwiches joint, but the menu is full of unlimited greatness and with the exception of being outdoors and the food being prepared in a small kiosk, it was an upscale dining experience. The prices are comparable to anywhere on the islands but the setting, fast service and incredible food far exceeds any other location.

“Unexpected find”
Reviewed August 31, 2012

Just happened to stop by for a quick outdoor lunch. We were very happy with the overall taste of our meals. Hubby had pulled pork and I had the tuxedo tuna appetizer followed by shrimp vera cruz-sorta like a shrimp burrito. It only had 4-5 small shrimp in the large rolled up burrito. The flavor was good. I would go back.

Thanks so much for the review and after some discussion, it would appear that we owe you a shrimp or two! The correct portion is 6 jumbo shrimp, we learned. Let me know when you are visiting next time, please!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Michael SDC owner
