The service was not good at all. The waitress never came back to our table after we ordered our meal and we sat there for over 40 minutes with nothing to drink. The food was ok but absolutely not worth the money. There are so many other better restaurants on the island that actually want your business.

this place exudes style and class. the buffet is terrific and the atmosphere is breathtaking. my wife and i had the breakfast and is was delicious. it may be a little bit more than some are willing to part with for breakfast at $31 per person but it is worth it.

We decided to do the Monday night buffet after reading several comments about the great lobster. Although we enjoyed the food, there was no lobster and little seafood other than appetizers. The main courses were duck, lamb chops, steak, and cooked to order pasta. The price was lower, $60pp rather than $85. We would have tried to get lobster in town during our stay had we known.

The food was really expensive. You can find much better meals in town for a lot less. Add to that, the service was just mediocre. We won't be going back.

Okay so we didnt' stay at caneel bay but we did eat at the Monday night Grand seafood buffett.. I have to say to those who complained that 70 or 75 bucks is a lot to pay for a buffett YOU ARE CRAZY!.. Between my brother and I we ate at least 11 lobster tails between us. They were sweet carribean lobsters. I think people are snobby and petty really. The buffett had everything imaginable on it. You could eat two lobster tails and already be through the 75 dollars , but 11. You almost could put them out of business by eating just those. Plus the seafood was fresh, the beef was exquisite, and the desserts were great. The service was very good, so shut up those who whine too much. and take your nose out of your butt. Worth the trip!!
