“Favorite restaurant on St. John”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

Sadly, we discovered this place near the end of our vacation - otherwise, we would have visited everyday. You get the impression that this place was someone's dream - and it shows. The proprietor was great to talk with and you could tell that she and all of Employees put a lot of themselves into this business. Baked in the Sun is a must when vacationing in St. John.

“Great Pastries”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

Best bakery on St. John, would not know you were having baked goods in Caribbean, could easily match any of the best mainland bakeries. The sticky buns and turnovers were delicious. If you are the kind of people who venture out early for coffee and the newspaper don't miss this spot. We returned a couple times during our stay on St. John. Recommend getting there early as they sell out of some of the items quickly. We did not try them for lunch, but will get some sandwiches next time. Good operation, easy location, and they have a fair amount of parking available for a Cruz Bay business.

“Having breakfast with family”
Reviewed July 27, 2013

Kao and her husband have become part of our St John family. When we are in Philadelphia, we DREAM about her Cuban sandwiches (my husband should know... he's Cuban...) and plan our days in St John around breakfast and lunch from Baked in the Sun. Kao will even diagnose a jellyfish sting if asked to do so and has some VERY creative remedies! What is BEST about Baked in the Sun is the friendships we have made! Can't wait to return!

We returned to Baked in the Sun many times during the course of the week we were in St. John. The food is fabulous and the staff is very cheerful and helpful. We sampled many of their baked goods and loved everything.

“Yummy!”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

I ate their Key Lime Pie at Miss Lucy's, and LOVED it, then had to know the bakery. We ate breakfast here one morning, took some pastries for our plane ride home, all were great. The Key Lime Pie was the best I've ever had. This bakery is between Cruz Bay & the Westin, so easy to find. LOTS of treats here.
