We stopped in to this bakery and loved the selection. The pastries went fast, because they have great selections. The breakfast bagels were very tasty too. They open at 6:30am, get there early. :)
One of the best places on St. John.

We stopped in to get some pastries to take back to our room and were surprised with the variety and quality of the baked goods that were in the cases. The man behind the counter was helpful and welcoming. I could have come back here every morning. Wonderful freshly made bagels (the poppy seed was my favorite), and some decadent cookies and other treats. They also have a nice selection of sandwiches to eat in or carry out (all under $10).

The had these breakfast sandwiches ($5) that were more like a small calzone stuffed with either egg and breakfast meats or the one we chose that was stuffed with al dente veggies. We took that with us for our lunch at Honeymoon Beach and it was perfect.

I had seen Baked in the Sun when we first arrived in Cruz Bay on our way to pick up our rental car. I wish we would have stopped in sooner, I have a feeling our packed lunches would have been much tastier and healthier for us if we had.

BTW - there is a laundromat next door.

Baked in the Sun is on Rte 104 just past the traffic circle. We had bagels here and they were pretty good. They were nice enough to put hummus on my bagel since I don't eat cream cheese. The coffee was also really good.

We were staying right around the corner and came here every morning for breakfast and lunch! For breakfast the sandwiches and burritos are good, but we really loved the lunch sandwiches. The smoked turkey pesto with roasted red peppers is incredible! And the absolute best were the desserts of course! The cream-cheese fudge brownie is to die for!! With a breakfast sandwich, coffee, and a dessert, it can add up though. A little pricey but totally worth it.
