“Delightful "must" when headed to Salt Pond”
Reviewed July 12, 2014 via mobile

We have heard rage reviews about Miss Lucy's so on our return from Salt Pond we stopped in. Our waitress, Donna, was spectacular. She had just come in for the evening shift (3 ish ) she was knowledgeable, extremely friendly and a delight to our first visit. I ordered the conch fritters and hubby ordered Chicken jerk wrap with fries. Both were delicious and very fresh. We sat outside to soak in every minute of Caribbean air. We loved the natural breeze and kid (baby goat) that adopted us during our visit. Sure there are a few roosters, but nothing compared to Kauai, Hawaii. Donna was diligent in continually cleaning the wrought iron tables outside.

Delicious and a great experience.

“Great Sunday Brunch!”
Reviewed July 10, 2014

Visited Miss Lucy's on Sunday for their Jazz Brunch. I sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the bartenders work and manage the demanding customers well. The poached egg, goat cheese, grilled tomato, and spinach over an english muffin was wonderful. As were the Bloody Mary's! The view and atmsophere can't be beat!

“Great Outdoor Dining by the Ocean”
Reviewed July 9, 2014

Miss Lucy's is a must stop if you are in Coral Bay / Callabash Boom area. The service was superb and friendly. The atmosphere is laid back. Yes there are some chickens and cats roaming around but they didn't bother us. The view is spectacular overlooking the ocean. The food was very good. Conch fritters however, were mostly filling and very little conch. The scallops and paella were awesome. Drinks are good size - try the painkiller for a real treat.

“Great view”
Reviewed July 7, 2014

We heard that Miss Lucy's was one of the best restaurants in St. John. It was surprisingly good. There are several stray cats wandering around...one of which kept jumping on me and putting it's butt in my face, but I guess that's what cats do! We started off with the Johnny cakes with drawn butter and honey. OMG. So good. I had the fish with the avocado sauce. It was really good, but a bit salty for my taste. I did, however, eat everything on my plate. My husband got the Kobe burger. Holy moley was that thing good. He ordered it rare (they got the temperature perfect!) and he just couldn't finish the last few bites it was so big. I had no problems helping him out by finishing it for him. The fries appeared hand cut and skinny, which made them crispy and perfect. We were able to finish our dinner by watching the sun set over the western part of the island under the mangroves. It was a pretty romantic setting. They also have local artists come perform during the high season. Overall, a pretty good place.
