“Great brunch”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

A scenic view. Great brunch with jazz band. Can be a long wait especially if you go early. After about 12 - 1 it started slowing down. Wait staff was good! Do wait to sit outside for the view. Its worth the wait. Did find out they serve dinner and you can make reservations. They are starting to have music on some evenings.

“Delicious Caribbean Dinner”
Reviewed January 12, 2014

We enjoyed our dinner at Miss Lucy's on a Saturday night in January without a reservation. Although the restaurant has outdoor waterfront seating, we ate inside due to rain. The indoor seating area is very casual and is largely open to the outdoors, so we were able to enjoy ocean breezes and an outdoor feel while staying dry. Service from our waitress, Donna, was prompt, friendly and professional. Our party enjoyed conch chowder, avocado snapper, paella and coconut grouper -- some of the most popular menu items at Miss Lucy's. Other reviews indicate inconsistent service, but our experience was entirely positive. Give it a try!

“Somewhat disapointing”
Reviewed January 11, 2014

On our third trip to St John we finally made it to Miss Lucy's. We had heard a lot of good reports and were looking forward to our visit. It was early on a slow Saturday night when we arrived and took an outside table. The setting is beautiful with a view across Coral Bay. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. Right off the bat we were told there were 3 or 4 items on a somewhat limited menue not available. We were hoping to have small salads and entrees as opposed to an appetizer before the entree. No small salads were available and the only larger salad we were interested in was not available. We ended up having a conch entree and a chorizo sausage with clams pasta dish. The pasta dish was OK but the conch was uninspired with no fresh vegetables. All of this would not be a big deal were it not for the prices which were too high for what you get. We might return to try lunch but would avoid dinner there again.

“Loved it!!”
Reviewed January 10, 2014 via mobile

We stopped for lunch today after morning snorkel. Beautiful venue. We were told immediately by our server that service was slow due to the crowd (must be the food!). Placed our orders and had a few drinks. Then waited. And waited. It took a long time. The delivery was worth every minute. Conch chowder and fritters wears fresh and tasty. Grouper Reuben's and seafood salad wraps amazing. We checked out dinner menu while there and will definitely be back soon!

“Wonderful Sunday brunch ”
Reviewed January 5, 2014 via mobile

Get there early to get a table with a view! Brunch was great, music and view were outstanding. I liked the pineapple and coconut pancakes, the sweet potato hash was good as well. Try the bushwhacker for a real treat. To top it all off two nice kitties roam around, one jumped in my husband's lap. Wish we were here two Sundays to go back.
