“Nice cafe not sure of the rest”
Reviewed April 1, 2013 via mobile

I will be honest I was expecting a little more then I found here. It may be me and I may not have explored it enough but the actual 'visitor centre' seemed non existent. The cafe however was delightful, very friendly staff and a large selection of drinks and food in a log cabin sort of building. There are several walks in the area and would definitely visit again. If you are just after somewhere to stop, toilet break, have a drink then it's a brilliant place

“Great day out for the kids!”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

This was the second time I have visited Garwnant. The kids absolutely love the assault course which had an area suitable for my 10 year old boy which had a zip wire and rope swings. There was also an area more suitable for my 5 year old daughter. I could hardly drag them away! The visitor center is well worth a visit at the first instance however as I found out had we visited there first we would've been able to join in the pond dipping activity that was taking place. Never mind, we live and learn. There is a great wildlife walk where the kids had fun hunting for the various animal statues dotted around the walk. Not suitable for buggies or pushchairs but not too far for a toddler to wander around if you wanted to wear them out. There is plenty of picnic tables around if you wanted to take your own lunch or there is a very clean and spacious cafe which sells sandwiches, cakes, tea, coffee and the most gorgeous ice cream. We will definitely go back this year and will be taking my sons bike for him to try the bmx track. With free entry this day out is bound to please every member of the family.

“Kids love it”

Kids will love this centre, with an assault course and a affordable cafe, right in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, by a lovely reservoir.

“Lovely Day Out”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

I took the children out for the day to Garwnant as I'd heared there was a good adventure park there. I was surprised that there was a lovely little cafe a few metres from the park. We went in for a hot drink while the kids were in the park and then decided to go back for lunch. The soup was great and there was plenty on offer for the kids too. Great visit!
