“Best resort and best value for an all inclusive”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2012

I just returned from my third stay at Bolongo. This time I took 3 of my girlfriends and they had the best time! The resort continues to be the best at hospitality, the food is 5 star with lots of choices...not a buffet like other all inclusive resorts. You can't beat the sailing trips offered by the Heavenly Days catamaran and the crew makes sure you have a great time. Thank you to the Doumeng family who continue to create a wonderful vacation spot for all to enjoy. I can't say enough about the staff, the amenities, the excellent cuisine and location. Thank you for making this all girls, Libra, birthday trip a blast!!!!

Room Tip: Getting a balcony is great as well as the floor level rooms...you can just walk out to the beach if...

Restaurant and pool were closed for remodeling which was disappointing. Had fun at Iggie's. Sunset harbor cruise was lovely! Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful view from balcony. Would probably stay in town next time where there was more to do and more places to eat.

We always stop at Bolongo Bay Beach Resort when visiting St Thomas on a cruise. It is a beautiful beach that is nice and quiet. The beach bar Iggies provides great food and drink for our day at the beach. Thanks again for making our trip GREAT!

Well what I'm getting at is yes it's beautiful. Yes the location is perfect. Picture perfect beach. Just a dream. The bar iggies is on the beach. Who could ask for a perfect place!!!!!!!
Well let dive into this. First at the airport I received an upgrade from a compact to a midsize. I thought nice, well not so nice stick to smaller cars streets are very small and you are driving on the left lane. Bolongo bay beach resort is on the beach. Nice chairs to lay on and enjoy the sun. Make sure you have sea shoes with you because you can't go in with out them. Lots and lots of rocks and seaweed. You need to hit a different beach. Rooms are old very old but comfy. The A.C. were right next to the beds. I had to put something next to the vents to divert the air from hitting me while I slept. The food at the beach bar is awesome. Service leaves to be desired . If you don't get up to get your own napkins and utensils you will be eating by hand. Breakfast was served in the conference room. It was very good, or was I hungry and ignored what I saw. It was dirty And falling apart. But the service and food were good.

All in all it was a good place to eat ,stay and rest. beech, you need to drive to one.

My husband, three daughters and I went to Bolongo Bay 8/10-8/17. It was so much more than we expected. As everyone writes, the rum punch upon arrival, the friendly staff, the great watersports amenities were all true. Our two bedroom, two bath condo was wonderful. Great space for our family, privacy for the couple and close enough to the main resort. We did need to ask for the staff to replenish coffee in the room a couple of times, but that was the only thing. The food in Lobster Grille is delicious as is the service. Swim-up bar small, but functional with half-price rum punch daily happy hour. The watersports never got old. We snorkeled each day with the turtles who never disappointed us. Kayaked, paddleboarded, tricycled, and just lay on our floaties.

My husband took the half day scuba lesson and enjoyed it. We took the day sail to St John, probably the highlight of the week. Lyndsay, Matt and the captain were awesome. Snorkeled as a group in deep water and saw lots of marine life. Lunch and unlimited drinks on the way home. We didn't want it to end.

My husband lost his prescription sunglasses in the bay in a fall off the paddleboard and Yoki promptly began snorkeling to successfully find them!!!!! The beach is lovely with lots of chairs, umbrellas etc. We didn't feel it was rocky, nor did we need watershoes. We rented a car for two days and had a great day at Coki beach. Sapphire beach was ok. Simply, we loved Bolongo Bay, didn't want to leave and hope to return one day. Very well run family ocean front resort with all the comforts we needed.

My, now husband and 9 other family members came to Bolongo Bay for our yearly vacation and our wedding. From the minute we got there we knew this was going to be a good good time. Walked up to the bar, introduced ourselves and boom all the staff seamed to become our family so super friendly. Anything we needed was not a problem, the little things like a couple extra things of coffee in our rooms to bug spray and they had it covered. The food….WOW so yummy…is all I can say. Our wedding was so perfect too, small, on the beach, more than we could have imagined. We have been on cruises been to Alaska, Jamaica, the Mediterranean and I can say by far our 7 nights at Bolongo Bay Rates right up there with #1. Thanks so much for a GREAT TIME
