I am a little late writing this but hope it helps! I was here with my girlfriend on December 12th wow what a place. This is really paradise it seemed like we had the beach all to ourselves. There was 2 local families there that were really friendly. We must have gotten lucky with it not being so crowded. We got a few drinks at the bar and walked down the beach and enjoyed what it had to offer. It is going to be hard to top finding a beach with water this nice. It is not a huge beach but the nature around you when you are there makes up for it! I will stop again when I go back. I do believe they charge a small fee to get in which isnt much and worth it!

When I look at beaches, the surrounding are what really set them apart in my mind. Here, the beach seems a bit secluded, and its not the easiest to see what's going on around you because there are trees everywhere, and its a bay, so its blocking your east/west view. The best part was going up the mountain and looking down at it, but that's about it. Otherwise, its just a beach with calmer water. Try to avoid going on cruise ship days :)

White sandy beach, very mild surf, lots of shade for the non-sunbathers. If you get there before 0730 or after 5:00pm there is no fee to enter.

From the cruise port, it's about 15-20 minutes (if you don't hit traffic), $8 each way by taxi, plus $4 to enter. Even with two ships in port when I visited, the beach didn't feel crowded. Beach chairs were $7 to rent, and I enjoyed a nice rum punch from the bar. The water is crystal clear and the sand is so pretty and white. This is a beach for total relaxation, as there are no jet skis, no parasailing, no motorized boat equipment at all, no people trying to sell you stuff, etc. Kayaks and stand up paddle boarding are available, though. Bring a good book and enjoy your time here!

Coming from Miami Beach, I know beaches. The beach was nice, but nit overly scenic. Partial eaten pizza slices all over the place. The birds were feasting on them. Gulf beaches were nicer and Aruba beaches the best in the world. Not used to the cold water in summer.
