“Ditch the beaches, chill in magic ice bar!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2012

My husband & I were on a cruise with RCL( Allure of the seas) & we kind of wondered pass the magic ice sign. Being that we were so tired of all the shops because they all carried the same junk and we had enough sun so we didn't want to go to another beach. We decided to try Magic Ice and to our surprise we really enjoyed it. We was welcomed in by the owner who was very nice and friendly. She told us the history behind magic ice which was interesting being that she was from Norway.
It's very cold inside but if you drink enough you will warm up! They gave me extra leg warmers to wear. The bartender(West) was the Best.. He told us we could stay in bar as long as we wanted too. There was a ice slide inside, a chapel and a lot of creative images made of ice. The best part was we got shots glasses as a keep sake. Did I mentioned the free shot of rum.(yummy). So if your in St. Thomas give them a try you will not be disappointed.

“Fabolous!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2012

Magic is the right words!!!
Its absolutely stunning how one can go from the nice and warm temperatures outside to a even nicer, COOL indoor temperature! the clothes and gloves you get to wear are clean, nice and comfy, the drink you get served in a glass made of ice is suuuper nice, and the sculptures are just magnificent. Even if there is several cruise ships in the harbour at once, it did not feel crwoden as one walk in one place and comes out another place.

It does cost a bit of money, but we think it was absolutely worth it :)

“Fun for 15 minutes”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012

This is cool to go and see and have 1 drink but its also freezing inside - even with the cool hooded jackets and leg warmers, etc...they provide. If you are okay with spending the $25 for a 15 minute drink at the ice bar, then you will enjoy this place.
