Purchased a ring in St. Thomas DI on 2/20/13. Only worn a few times and 5 months later we noticed a crack in the ring. Contacted DI New York and first they tell me it's out of warranty ( after 5 months) and to return it to have it assessed for repair I need to sign a form stating that sending it to them does not constitute a return of merchandise and that I will not initiate a charge back through my credit card. Gee, that's a great way to start out customer service! I want nothing to do with them. I took the ring to a reputable local jeweler who laser soldered it and fixed the flaw, and at a reasonable price. Now the ring is beautiful again. Never again, DI.
