We stayed initially in early Jan 2012 when Bill and Susie were managers and whilst we were there John and Gwen became new managers. We thoroughly enjoyed our accomodation experience under both managers. The place is so relaxing with great rooms ,well kept gardens, easy to walk downtown and such personable management. We booked again and came back in mid Jan after our BVI bareboat sailing charter. We will recommend to our aussie freinds.

Room Tip: room h2 is great with balcony

We are glad you had a great experience with both sets of managers! We too were sad to see Bill and Susan leave, however, we enjoy being full time now, and not just the relief managers for a few months of the year! Thank you for your recommendations!

We stayed at the Green Iguana on our way to St. John. We were late getting in, and they were very accommodating, friendly and helpful, as we were missing luggage. A GREAT experience that we will defintely repeat. Clean and beautiful property, with helpful hosts.

We feel your pain, we have also had luggage not make it to our destination with us! We are happy we were able to accommodate you! I think I offered you a clean t-shirt to sleep in! Thank you for taking the time to review The Green Iguana Hotel, and for your kind remarks! At the time of your stay, we were only here for a few weeks as full time managers. Thank you for the encouragement to continue!

We needed a place to stay one night before boarding a dive boat. The location was right, the price was right and the reviews were good. After pushing the button on the security communication box we were cordially greeted and welcomed by the managers and shown to our room A5. This is an upper room with a beautiful view of the harbor and a good portion of that side of the island. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the main drag along the harbor front with multiple restaurants and loads of shopping. Expect somewhat of an uphill climb on the way back, there are steps but quite a few of them. Taxis are numerous and readily available. We walked to The Green House Restaurant had a very good dinner and returned to the hotel within a couple of hours, leisurely walk to and from. We found our accommodations clean, comfortable, spacious, and safe. The airport taxis are familiar with the location. We were treated like old friends on our first stay and will return when possible. The management is super, with many suggestions for places to go and things to do.

Room Tip: The higher the better the view.

The new managers of this small, boutique Green Iguana Hotel are friendly and helpful. The quiet, restful gardens are so inviting that you may not want to leave them. Our room was super clean, bright, comfortable bed, a/c and fan, with refrig and microwave and a great view of the harbor. Must climb 99+ steps or take taxi to town but the walk is fun. Would definitely return. Lynda from upstate NY.

We stayed at the Green Iguana during Christmas 2011. Bill and Susie were very warm in receiving us and made us feel very comfortable! Our room was neat and had a lovely balcony with a great view of the city and the ocean...the sunset was beautiful to watch! The hotel is on a hill and has a good amount of parking space. Everything is pretty close to the hotel...St Thomas is pretty small!! It didnt take us more than 10 to 15 mins to go to the restaurants, downtown shopping or the beautiful beaches. Enjoyed our stay here very much!
