We ate at the Fat Turtle for lunch the day before we left for home. We were with my daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters and were not in a hurry, so enjoyed watching all the activity in the yacht marina right next to the restaurant. I had the grilled mahi sandwich with the citrus salad and thought it was very good. The granddaughters enjoyed their pizza and were happy to eat some French fries for a change. Our waitress was very friendly, don't know her name, and so helpful. Perfect place for what we needed.

Loved walking around Yacht Haven Grand and looking at all the huge yachts. We ate here and had a nice view, but food was just average bar food. They did have a great cocktail menu with fun drinks.

The restaurant was located on a fantastic location (next to fancy shops and a beautiful scenary filled with high priced yachts) with average service and sub par food. If you're going to waste your money, just put it in a paper shredder instead. A chicken caeser wrap for $17 and $13 for most appetizers is really not worth it if the food tastes like what we experienced.

Items of note - Lots of the menu's floating around online are outdated by about 3+ years. We saw chicken parm and pork chops on one of the online menus and the waitress told us that was an outdated menu.
Positives - Great views of expensive yachts.
Negatives - Everything else. Food, Price, Service, Drinks (not strong)

Went to Fat Turtle on our first evening in St. Thomas. A nice menu with good selections. Encountered some service issues, apparently a result of shortage of staff in kitchen. Took about an hour to get our food, though others who came after us received their food well before us. The food, however, was very good, salmon cooked as ordered and very good. I had macaroni and cheese as a side and it may have been the best I have ever had. Hopefully, the service issue was a one time occurrence.
