Miller Manor Guest House

We stayed at Miller Manor for 2 nights on the front and back-end of a sailing trip to the BVI. We were so glad we found this little spot - thank you Trip Advisor. The owners, Marj & Harry, were welcoming and friendly, we enjoyed our conversations with them. We LOVED the bar overlooking the harbor. What a GREAT spot to enjoy coffee in the am, or a drink in the afternoon while watching the hummingbirds, having conversation with others and enjoying the fantastic view of the harbor. The hotel is historic and unique. Our room was clean and comfortable - no complaints. The room had a small fridge and microwave. The owners recommended some excellent restaurants for breakfast and dinner and were more than accommodating to us. We would most certainly stay here again if we were to return to St. Thomas.

We had a great stay at Miller Manor! The hotel is American-owned, very cozy and clean rooms with A/C that works well. Our room had a balcony with a gorgeous view! The staff was very friendly and served us a free cocktail at happy hour, and gave us restaurant recommendations where "the locals go". The ferry station was a short cab ride away. We'd definitely stay at Miller Manor again.

Barbara and I enjoyed out two stays at the Miller Manor. We stayed one night just prior to our boat charter and then two nights at the end. Harry and Marj are great and will all to make your stay pleasant.

Refridge, microway, tv, and air conditioning, with private bathroom and ahower. Overlooks Charlotte Amalie Harbor.

Would consider coming back again.

My husband and I stayed one night in St. Thomas after a ten day sailing adventure in the British Virgin Islands. We came to Miller Manor on a recommendation from our sailing mates. The owners are great and very accommodating. The room was modest, clean and quiet - all that we needed. When we arrived, we were offered a complimentary beer, which was much appreciated in the very hot weather. The Manor is located in a neighbourhood, close to restaurants, transportation - most notably the ferry terminal (you can walk from there). If you take a taxi, just mention 'Killer Miller's place", and it'll get you there. Expect to pay $10.00 or more for a 10 minute walk (but, if you have lots of luggage, it's worth it).

If we ever return to St. Thomas, we will definitely return to Miller Manor!

Four of us stayed one night on our return trip from sailing in the British Virgins- and all we had to do was walk out on the open deck and look over the harbor to feel that this would be a great final resting spot before heading home. Harry and Marj were very accommodating, answering all our questions, getting us settled in, and getting us a taxis and making dinner reservations for us. We ate at Mafolie Hotel high above the B&B and watched an amazing thunderstorm roll through and several cruise ships on their way out to sea - fabulous! And food and service was good there! Miller Manor was clean, delightful and we felt very safe. I only wish they had breakfast there - although the suggested breakfast spot they recommended was well within walking range and was an excellent choice - right on the harbor waters. Plan to walk - up and down stairs but it is nothing difficult. And we appreciated being within walking distance of town. If you want to stay in Charlotte Amalie - Harry and Marj will take very good care of you!

We enjoyed the historic stone/brick building--from the 1800s--that is built on the hillside above Charlotte Amalie. Open air deck and bar and a fabulous view of the red roofed buildings below and the port. We were welcomed with an evening Rum Punch and our hosts' (Harry and Marge) conversation; Advice: get directions; can be difficult to find since not all streets have signs. Our room was clean and comfortable; pricing is moderate, so don't expect high-end elegant--we had microwave and refrigerator. Bed and Breakfast atmosphere (no breakfast, though!) and good help with where to go and restaurants. Marge and Harry are from Colorado--we really enjoyed our stay here! (Bill and Debbi)

The couple who run the place are really nice.

It's not far from the airport, but it's not in a great neighborhood. They even said they don't recommend walking outside after dark. We looked over the balcony at night and saw prostitutes on the main street.

There was no breakfast, but they did have good recommendations of places to eat. The room was basic but we got a good night's sleep.
