“Beautiful Historical Church”
Reviewed April 14, 2012

Lovely place even just to climb up those steps and peek in at! Honestly, that's all I did, but it's just so gorgeous.

“Overlooked, but worth a walk inside.”
Reviewed February 5, 2012

Classic church from the Danish days, a walk around the inside reveals touching memorial plaques.

“Peaceful place to escape”
Reviewed January 29, 2012

This church was built in 1793. The pews, each with its own doors, were rented to familes of the congregation. Mass is still held today. What beautiful mahogany alter. It was a nice retreat to escape the heat (not that I was complaining) for a short time. This is one of the many places to explore in Charlotte Amalie if you're like me and don't like to shop.

“Nice old church”
Reviewed January 9, 2012

It will only take you a short while to visit this church. Note the Danish script on some of the memorial stones embedded in the walls. The windows and doors are old fashioned with very little glass. The mahogany altar is simple and beautiful. The doors were wide open for visitors to enter, so we just went right in.

This church is just up the street from Fort Christian.

“Very nice Sunday service”
Reviewed September 6, 2008

I visited for Sunday 9 AM service during my vacation stay in St. Thomas.
It was heart warming service. I had a good time singing hymns.
The church has been there since 1666.
