Captain Perry and crew were great. We had a great time and you could tell they really cared about their excursion. We felt less like customer and more like shipmates. He let some kids steer the wheel and other passengers raised the sail. We shot our cannon at other boats with a seemingly unlimited supply of rum punch. Great excursion off the cruise, and really nice to see people have fun with their work instead of just doing it because they have too.

We booked through the Disney ship and are we ever glad we did. A party of 9, age range from 8 to mid-70's, we all had a great time. The crew made everything fun, the necessary safety announcements and cautions were expressed well. One of the things that I look for is how do the crew members interact with each other. Our crew liked and respected each other and that was extended to all the passengers. For those who had not snorkeled before, the crew skillfully and patiently gave then confidence to try it. All in all a highly recommended venture, one of the highlights of the entire cruise. Don't miss it!

We booked this excursion through Disney Cruise Line and it was amazing. The ship was great. Crew was hilarious and helpful. Easy for all levels of swimmers. Life vests are mandatory! My 7 year old had a gulp of salt water and wanted to get out. The offered to watch him so I could snorkel. Saw many turtles, reef fish, and corals. Very cool! They had drinks for everyone and made the trip fun for all!!! My daughter even drove the ship! And my teen raises the sails.

We participated on this full day tour to the Christmas island and the Honeymoon Cove. The tour included swimming, snorkeling and sun bathing and we had absolutely great time! The crew of Stars and Stripes, CJ, Mark and Carl took really good care of us!
P.S. The rum punch was excellent!

We booked this excursion (Turtle Bay Sail and Snorkel) through Royal Caribbean and are so glad we did!! The location of the boat (correction: pirate ship--we went on Blackbeard's Revenge) was pretty close to the pier so it wasn't more than a 3-4 minute walk or so. We listened to island music as we sailed out to Buck Island to snorkel a reef with some sea turtles. The crew was engaging and fun and energetic. We got lucky, too--no kids on this boat (unlike RCCL)! We saw about a dozen turtles and some pretty colorful fish hanging around the reef nearby. We had plenty of time to snorkel when we got there, too. On the way back, we were treated to unlimited rum punch, a pirate "tattoo" (temporary, of course, but fun!) and the sails completely unfurled. It was our favorite excursion of the entire trip! I'd highly recommend this to anyone--there were even some folks who just wanted to take the boat ride (which is beautiful). Also, this is an easy thing to do for beginning snorkelers. They teach you the ins and outs of using the equipment and will bring you (personally) right over to the best place to see the turtles and reef via an in-water tour. I tend to get seasick but I took some Dramamine about an hour before and was just fine. The waters were a bit choppy but that was part of the fun--we had a lot of sea spray coming in which was fine because it got pretty hot in the sun! As for Nick, we have no idea where he gets his energy from but he clearly loves his job. They all do! Go ahead and book this--you won't regret it.

We booked with them as a shore excursion from Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. With an elderly grandmother of 92 yrs, mom 72 yrs, son 44 yrs, granddaughter 13 yrs - we all had a wonderful time. Only grandmother didn't go snorkeling in Turtle Bay but thanks to the "turtle whisperer" we all got to see turtles, a stingray, various fish, and a hermit crab in a conch shell.

We really enjoyed this day trip as a shore excursion for a cruise. Oddly the cruise line ticket called it "Turtle Bay Sail & Snorkel Adventure" and it was all that and more!

The pirate ship Blackbeard's Revenge picked us up next to the cruise ship and sailed us to Turtle Bay where we snorkeled with numerous sea turtles, lots of fish, conch, sea urchins, rare starfish and even an octopus. On the sail back we were given pirate tattoos, rum punch and lots of laughs. In all, a great afternoon!

I suppose bad weather is the only thing that could dampen such a fun trip, and even then I expect the turtles, fun crew and rum punch would make it a great time.
