We called about 11am and were expecting to wait about an hour, you know "island time". Food was good. We had the spicy fish soup, barely spicy but great flavor, served with pita bread pieces, humus pita, different but good and filling 2 other entrees and that was $52 gave the guy an $8 tip cause he was there in 35 minutes, this restaurant is downtown, we were 15minutes away at frenchman's reef.

Food & Service were great. We had lunch there twice and each time it was perfect. We are looking forward to coming back next year.

Working in the downtown area lunch options are slim. With Cafe Amalia I know I can always get a great meal at an affordable price(well by st. Thomas standards :)) as an added bonus, Helga, Maynard and the team always give exceptional service!

Upon the recommendation of the Innkeeper at the Galleon House, we had a fantastic meal at Amalia Cafe. The service was great and the food was excellent. We would highly recommend Amalia Cafe for dinner in Charlotte Amalie.
