Ate breakfast here one morning. Pricey, but the food and service was very good and you can't beat eating breakfast with the beach and ocean just steps away.

Open air with view of the bay and beach. Good food, nothing fancy, with decent prices. However the Voodoo juice is the hook. The staff was very friendly

The all you can eat buffet was absolutely amazing! The whole setting was perfect being right on the ocean, live music, and great food!

One of the best deals on the island. All you can eat lobster and prime rib buffet, with noddle bars, mac and cheese, fresh fruit, lobster, crab, oysters, shrimp and so much more

We arrived late on a Tuesday evening and were able to sit near the railing, the tables located closest to the beach. The setting is perfect and breezy, very casual. Shorts and a t-shirt are appropriate. The waitress was somewhat distracted even though the restaurant was not busy.
It took quite a long time to get our drink orders and there was some confusion about our wine order. The bartender eventually was able to locate a warm bottle of wine and placed it in a bucket of ice for us. We started with the coconut shrimp appetizer which was delicious and ordered cheeseburgers as our entree. The burgers were good, but I felt the price tag ($18) was steep.
I tried a "cocktail" (painkiller) and was disappointed...it tasted watered-down. I feel this is an issue that the Marriott could definitely improve upon. Unless you order beer or wine, the quality of the drinks are inconsistent and overpriced.
We asked for our Elite Marriott discount (10%) when the bill arrived and were told that the restaurant doesn't honor the discount, even though the front desk supervisor instructed me to ask for the discount while we are settling the bill at the individual restaurants. The Coco Joe's manager made a big deal about "nothing" and somewhat belittled us for asking. She made a big point to tell me that "Robert" stated we were not entitled to a discount. This spoiled our evening and made me reluctant to return. I do not understand why Platinum members are offered a 10% at all of the other Marriott restaurants, but not at Coco Joes.
