We had originally booked a week's rental in Bolongo Bay, but had to leave after one night due to extreme cockroach infestation! Crystal Cove was the first location we called, and the manager was kind enough to allow us to look at the condo before agreeing to rent. The community is gated, and the beach is just on the other side of the well kept lawn area. We were really happy to find a well kept, if slightly worn, living space. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals, including a killer blender for margaritas! The 2 bathrooms were also clean, if a little worn, and the linens are in good shape. The master bedroom was huge, though the bed was really, really firm! There is a murphy bed in the living room that is comfy. Air conditioning worked well. The one down side was the lack of free internet. Instructions are available for purchasing wireless internet time. We felt completely safe here and the beach was clean and calm, with sapphire blue water. We will definitely return here.

My husband and I just went to St Thomas for our honeymoon in early August and decided to go with a condo instead of a hotel room. We stayed in B-11 and let me just say, it was the best decision we made (the second best being to rent a car)! I was so worried that staying in someones condo might end up being complicated and risky, but the owner Steve is so easy going and made it such a simple process. It was also a lot cheaper than the nice hotels on the island and SO worth every penny. It's roomy, the bed is SUPER comfy, and the beach was gorgeous. We went out and sat on the beach every day and what made it so enjoyable was the constant breeze and the warm water. Honestly, if you're going to St Thomas, the best choice you can make is to stay at B-11. What's better than having your own condo on the nicest beach on the island?

We just got back from our first beach vacation to St Thomas and it was wonderful! We stayed in unit B-11 and were very impressed. The condo is very spacious and clean, and Steve and Honey make sure you have everything you need. All snorkel and beach fun gear, beach towels, and the way they stock the condo with necessities and then some is amazing. Steve also provides you with ALL the information of the island, etc. before you get there so you feel prepared. The grounds are beautifully manicured and everyone is so welcoming and helpful. I just can't say enough to describe how great the stay was for my family! Thanks Steve and Honey!

We stayed here for 4 nights in May for my wife's birthday. I was made aware of this place via LivingSocial, so we bought the deal not knowing what to expect. Fortunately, there were so many positive experiences shared on Tripadvisor by others, we figured we couldn't go wrong.

HOTEL: huge apartment-like suites, with 2 full bathrooms, a kitchen with all the necessary supplies, and a dining table. The rooms and decor are a bit dated, but quite clean. The parking lot was quite expansive, so you could park directly behind your room every day with little competition. We had our own private patio with a screen, so we could hang our bathing suits outside without any problems. We stayed in B13, which is very close to the beach!

GROUNDS: beautifully kept grounds, you could tell the staff there worked very hard to keep up the place. The flowers just outside of our condo were very appealing. The very clean beach was literally 100 steps from our room, which cut down on the amount of things we had to bring with us. We went in May, so it wasn't extremely crowded, but suffice it to say that we felt very safe leaving our belongings on the beach while going in the water.

SERVICE: our flight landed 2 hours late on a Sunday afternoon, so the office was already closed. Bernie went out of her way to write us a letter informing us of the location of our room key, and reminded us of the nearby grocery store that kept our room well-stocked during our stay. She gave us several recommendations/coupons for ventures (Coral World Ocean Park, parasailing), and we were even able to book an in-room massage!

CONCLUSION: excellent condo, didn't want to leave, would recommend highly to anyone else traveling to St. Thomas!

Room Tip: The entire "B" villa was really close to the beach!

Three of my grandchildren's other grandmother is a travel nurse in the VI for 13 weeks this summer. She invited me to fly down with my grandkids and spend 10 days with them at Crystal Cove. The facility was perfectly suited to our needs. While it's a bit older, the rooms were clean and towels were fresh and white. Beach towels were also provided for the guests, along with lovely beach chairs anytime we ventured to the shoreline. The kitchen is galley style with room for only one cook at a time, but certainly workable. There is an open porch where we sat to drink coffee every morning while we watched the sun come up over the crystal blue water. We were exactly 69 steps to the beach and less to the salt water pool which was maintained well and always clean with sparkling water. The beach staff was more than friendly as they set up our chairs and fetched food and drinks from the nearby stand. We had 2 flat screen TVs and wireless internet which could be sketchy at times, but was adequate for our needs. There were plenty of additional sheets for the murphy bed, the futon and the kingsize bed in the one private bedroom. Being in a secure gated community was a must with our 3 children, ages 4, 11 and 13. There was plenty of privacy with a fenced back yard and access to the parking lot. A laundry room was located almost directly behind our condo (C31) that was clean and we had no problems with the washers/dryers. You have to buy tokens, but the office staff was available during regular business hours for that purchase. Be prepared for the regular sightings of iguanas! They are around the lovely pond and manicured grounds as well as frequent visitors at the beach. We had no problems leaving them to their business and they left us to ours! Great photo ops everywhere we turned and we took full advantage of them. I would recommend this property to anyone with a family that is looking to have the vacation of a lifetime. It's a short walk to the dock where we took a boat out for a dinner cruise on July 4th to view the fantastic firework display and another boat that took us parasailing. Please make this a serious consideration if your travel plans take you to this beautiful part of the world!
