Owner description: Take the West End to Brewer’s Bay, a lovely white-sand beach popular with the locals.

This beach was certainly mostly locals the day we were there but still a lot of fun. No lifeguard present as other's have mentioned and the only food was local food trucks, which we did not take advantage of. It was somewhat rocky but the waves were nice and gentle and we enjoyed out afternoon. Parking can be a bit tricky so be prepared to jockey for one of the limited spots.

Snorkeling, saw a ray. Quiet beach where the locals seem to come. So many beaches here on the islands. Each has its' own uniqueness. this has lots of parking and few people. Whoever we met seemed to be locals or those temporary workers. All good! and beautiful sunset!

A nice place to spend the day away from tourists. They only down side is that it is near the airport so you get to listen to the planes unless you like watching and listening to airplanes.

near the airport, water was very nice, quiet beach, a place where the locals hang out. No lifeguard when we were there.

Brewer's is a beautiful beach on the west side of the University of the Virgin Islands just past the airport. It's pretty quiet throughout the week and nice n' social on Sundays. It's pretty much a local beach, not a lot of tourists, which is really nice for days when you want to avoid crowds. My favorite thing about this beach besides the always stunning view, are the food carts. The one thats parked the furthest west along the road in front of the beach has the most delicious Pate's (a local deep fried stuffed patty) our favorite being the veggie! Its awesome how delicious these cheap snacks are, I crave them every time I drive past. Oh, and the snorkling is actually quite good here if you swim out a bit. This is where I went snorkling for the first time. Its not very clear after the rain but great otherwise. Sometimes you'll see turtles in this area although the last big hurricane tore out most of the sea grass and has reduced the turtle numbers by a lot.
