We ventured to Red Hook from our hotel and weren't sure what to expect when we heard that most of the restaurants had lost power. The menu posted outside of the Cellar looked interesting, so we took a chance. We were greeted by the chef who told us about the power issues and assured us the air conditioning would be cranking in no time and we could be seated in about 20 minutes.
During that 20 minutes we sat in the chic lounge and enjoyed delicious appetizers and cocktails served by the same kind and attentive chef that greeted us. We really enjoyed the music they played as well. Really great ambiance. We were promptly seated in the dining room where the service was friendly and well paced.
Dinner was absolutely delicious, with everything prepared to perfection. Power went out a couple of times during dinner, but it never caused any issues.
It was one of our favorite meals enjoyed on our wonderful trip to St. Thomas. If you are on the island, you don't want to miss this place!
