“Good for football and beer”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

This place is very bar atmosphere. It's relaxed, which is nice. There are a lot of televisions so you can watch the football games (a lot of us locals don't have cable). It is a good place to go out and have some beers with your friends. The food is alright, "bar food," very simple, and bad for you (health-wise) but pretty delicious, especially the burgers! Service is usually fantastic. Kate and Elizabeth are very good servers, and very friendly. There is one grumpy server, but I don't know her name and I just do my best not to sit in her section. Overall fun place to be.

“Casual island pub”
Reviewed January 13, 2013 via mobile

Molly's is a casual island pub. Burgers are a good option for dinner as most entrees are fair at best. They are better for breakfast or brunch and make very good egg wraps and pancake egg wraps. I go again for breakfast

“Unexpected Irish Pub!”
Reviewed January 11, 2013

Great place to watch sports with 10 TV's! Servings are large so make sure that you are hungry! There is a good variety of food from salads to ribs as well as Irish fare.

“New Year's Eve”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

We spent NYE at Molly's. The food was great, we all had filet and it was excellent. The service was great and the owner and staff made it a fun night.

“If You Like Pricey Tourist Traps With Bad Food & Rude Service You'll LOVE It”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

The travel book made it seem as if this restaurant was going to be good and festive. We found it to be neither. The food was typical fare for the area - lots of fried stuff, sandwiches, some seafood etc. and an extensive bar menu. We ordered a variety of items - everything was greasy and tasteless and not worth the fat and calories - we felt disgusting afterwards. In my opinion it's difficult to mess up fried food - while unhealthy it usually at least tastes good, not so here. For example, the (fried) conch fritters were sort of raw in the center and had no real taste, but lots, lots of grease. The drinks were delicious, but expensive (not uncommon in these parts). The big insult was when the bill came and a couple of drinks and a sampling of crappy bar food was around $75. The server was surly and seemed put out by our existence. Also beware, we ordered water and were brought bottled waters ($4 each - not warned by the server). It seems to be common to get bottled water in the Virgin Islands unless you specify tap water (so watch out, we were rarely asked if we wanted a bottle). However, even fine dining places weren't charging $4 for a small bottle of Dasani - plus wasteful.... Speaking of waste, the restaurant used tons of styrophome - not appetizing and grossly wasteful. The book mentioned that iguanas would come up to your table and beg for food, this did not happen, nor did we see iguanas (only one way up in a tree) or even the water, though it is waterfront there isn't really a view. I'd suggest heading up the hill to Duffy's for similar type fare at a little bit of a cheaper price and, while not great, much, much better than Molly Malone's and with some healthier options (along with some of the same unhealthy ones) and festive drinks - the drinks are of a similar price, but you can keep the glasses and the food is a little cheaper. Not a better view, but a little more fun, a good bit better food and super friendly service as opposed to the grumpzillas at MM.
