Good Sunday morning breakfast spot. Open early. Not easy to find, but just behind Big Kahuna across from Ferries

tucked away in a corner serving great food at great value in the oldest buiding on St. Thomas. We had a very friendly waitress and just loved the food.

We had lunch at Gladys' and were glad we did. Conch chowder and jerk chicken wings were excellent, and for the less adventurous a turkey sandwich was much enjoyed. A cool retreat on a hot day with lots of ambiance, we'd recommend this place in a heartbeat.

We went to the info booth in town for food recommendations and this was mentioned for local cuisine. The menu was pretty pricey so we ended up with a lunch special chicken curry (with mac&cheese, rice, salad fixings on the side) at about $13 USD and a guacamole at $10 USD. The food turned out tasting great and it was a nice atmosphere.

Stumbled upon Gladys after some shopping while over from St John. Lunch for four. Two had the stewed chicken with sides. One had a chicken sandwich with fries and I enjoyed the ox tails! Yummy finger licking gravy and rice and beans. The Mac and cheese was a bit dry but it was just an add on. Kind service good prices.
