If you're in St. Thomas, don't go for a burger or a wrap... Stop in at Gladys' for an authentic taste of the Caribbean. Try the curried goat, which is absolutely delicious and sample their house-made hot sauces. They also have plenty of less adventurous items, such as hot wings, fried chicken and burgers. The staff is great, the place is clean and it's convenient to all the touristy shopping. Perfect for cruise passengers who are sick of the same ole, same ole you find on the boats.

We had breakfast at Gladys' on a Wednesday morning on our way to the airport. They were not busy at all when we came in, and never really were the whole time we were there. The food was ok - its eggs so what can anyone do to them. The waitress was quick enough to take our order but it took almost an hour to get our breakfast. That is slow even by Caribbean standards.

Tucked away from tourist view in the Royal Dane Mall, Gladys Cafe offers delicious food in a old world atmosphere. I enjoyed the Jerk Mahi Mahi sandwich. Gladys hot sauce is the bomb. If you eat at Wendy's, instead, you missed the good stuff.

Loved the Roti and Ole Wife. We will always find our way back when we return? There is even entertainment from the bar keep! You'll find it down one of those ancient walkways downtown. Try the mango margarita; my new favorite drink.

We go back to Gladys Cafe every year - it is a quaint little place on one of the side streets in downtown. Great menu and prices. Gotto stop by.
