We went to dinner hear in 2011 and had an awful experience to the point where we said we would never go back. The waiter was drunk (or something) and screwed up our drink and food orders to the point the manager had to keep checking on us. The atmosphere was noisy and chaotic.

We got talked into going again this year by local friends, and much to our surprise, we really enjoyed it. What a difference a lousy waiter makes. The menu had many options and the service was great. The atmosphere was very elegant, quiet and romantic. I can't believe I'm saying this, but we're looking forward to going back next year..

We make this a must do every visit to St. Thomas. The location is terrific with a great view of the Charlotte Amalie Harbor and the food is as good as any on the island. The four of us had a delightful meal with wine for under $200, which is in line with other fine restaurants on STT. Service is attentive and the owner (George H.) makes a point to visit around the dining room to be sure all is well. There are many good restaurants on STT, but most do not have this view and charm. I suggest that you have your hotel concierge book your table to increase your chances of getting a window seat. Also, check to see if your hotel has a relationship that gets you a little extra, for example mention that you are at the Marriott and get a free dessert wine serving. You can't go wrong here.

Lots written about this hot spot, and the views are as advertised. Truly excellent panorama. The atmosphere is not quite Carribean, and not quite New York. A bit of a cross. Service prompt. Bar staff engaging. Dishes weren't special, but acceptable. Nothing extraordinary at either extreme - not wow or ick. Prices ok ... nice to see that they don't over-price for an "ok" meal.

Would certainly return.

What a view! The food was good and all prepared well. The garlic bread appetizer was delicious. Their prices were in line with all the others on the island, by which I was pleasantly surprised. We had a 5:30pm reservation, but due to evening downtown traffic and the terribly unmarked roads, we didn't arrive until 6pm. We called to let them know and George said he would have a table for us whenever we got there. Which he did. We had an amazing view of the bay and downtown. We will definately be back.

The food was almost as good as the view, we were seated outside and enjoyed a comfortable breeze and great view of the cruise ship coming into port. Everyone's meals were excellent and the service was perfect. The portions were nice for the meal but the appetizers we small. Overall a good place to try.
