I dine here every time I am in St. Thomas. The food is excellent and impressively presented. The owner of the restaurant is very nice and the staff is both friendly and professional. It's a little on the high side, price wise, but everything is here on the island.

I recommend this restaurant for a nice dining experience!

The Banana Tree Grille had great views looking over St. Thomas' Harbour. The decor was suited for the Caribbean location. The food was mixed; some dishes were excellent while others were fair. The featured fish was excellent, the Steak was cooked properly to specifications, but Seared Tuna was poor.

Lovely view, friendly staff, and good food. The dessert and pina colada was average. Its within walking to Blue Beards Castle. Nice and romantic :)

The view from this place is fantastic. It sits on the hill, next to Bluebeard's castle, and overlooks the harbor. The restaurant is a relaxed setting and the food was excellent. Our waiter was Chris. He greeted us with a smile and clearly loves what he does. He's worked here for years and knew everything about the menu. He also has several helpful tips about the Island. My steak was extremely tasty. The other folks in my party raved about the seafood as well. We also spilt a wonderful pasta meal, as an appetizer. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend the place and suggest you ask for Chris.

Our family has vacationed in St. Thomas 2 years in a row and each time we all agree the Banana Tree is the best meal during the entire vacation. Blue Beards Castle is a neat venue. The wait staff is top of the line and they treat children like gold. Our daughter asked for a side of ranch dressing (which was not on the menu) and the waiter some how found our little princess the "much needed" dressing of request. Check out the wine list and drink menu which are very impressive. The food is some of the best on the island. The entrees are always unique and it's almost a sin to leave without having one of their deserts. And the view.......we always love going at night time when you can see all of the lights thoughout Charlotte Amaile. Truely beautiful!
